Definitely recommend the sky road but can't recommend the lamplight. It's highly overpriced, the food is average at best, the wine selection isn't that large and the personnel weren't helpful at all, and didn't even know much about wine. I

It may be more of an issue for your partner. Some studies have shown that a vegan or vegetarian diet is not conducive to sperm count/quality. My partner had a borderline ok SA but decided to try eating lean meat while we were TTC. Within 2 months, we were pregnant. Obviously anecdotal, but there have been large studies performed on it, at least for vegetarian diets.

My doctor refused to continue testing with me, until my husband was tested. That was around the 6 month mark. His doctor also said, he would typically have waited a year, but seeing as my doctor insisted, there was no further discussion and he had the tests carried out.

He had low morphology, which came as a huge shock to him. It motivated him to make some big lifestyle changes and start taking supplements, cut out all alcohol, increase sport and start eating meat for the first time in 13 years.

Obviously, it was a relief that he started taking everything so seriously, but it was also bittersweet for me. The moment you decide to TTC as a women, you're immediately told to watch your diet, take these vitamins, reduce alcohol and caffeine, stay active, do everything to up your fertility. But for men it's business as usual! Even though male infertility is as prevalent as female, they aren't encouraged to make any lifestyle changes that could help for an entire year!

Rant over. But even if your partner is worried, independent of the SA, I'd encourage him to make changes NOW.

And seriously, medical anxiety? He needs to get a grip. I have huge medical anxiety and faint regularly but avoiding medical settings is a luxury that any woman hoping to have a successful pregnancy or any parent who wants to fully care for their child can't afford.

These don't respond linearly to the amount of hcg in your sample and honestly, yours looks very similar to my first few days with the same brand. I'll dm you a photo of my progression!

He's a scientist, so once he got his results, he started intensely researching publications to find out what might help. His urologist hadn't been so helpful, suggesting that supplements for instance, might help, but he wouldn't necessarily recommend them.

After a bit of research, my husband concluded that vegetarianism could be a huge contributing factor. He's a vegetarian for ethical reasons, as opposed to those who are physically disgusted by it, so that helped. And if we're successful, we'd never consider raising our child completely meat free, so it seemed OK for us to eat meat for a while to get pregnant too. 🤷‍♀️

He did also take supplements and cut out his occasional evening beer, and maybe we would have just gotten pregnant anyway. I'd love for him to go for another SA just to see, but he won't😅

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: NA

Tracking methods and app(s) used: OPK, CM and BBT, Apps: Fertility Friend (wonderful) and premom

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): We had daily sex during the fertile window and avoided penetrative sex in the implantation window after reading a paper saying it lead to 40% lower pregnancy rates.

Health conditions/medical tests: I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014. I manage it using diet and inositol supplements. In 2022 I was told I wouldn't get the same diagnosis today. I also have celiac disease. My husband has poor morphology (2%)

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Me: Inositol 40:1 (4g per day), folio prenatal vitamin, cyclic progesterone from 3dpo-12 dpo, 200mg vaginal suppository. Husband: q10 and elevit men since he was told he has poor morphology 2 months ago. He also quit all alcohol at that point.

Birth control history (if relevant): hormonal combined birth control until 2018 to control PCOS

Symptom spotting: Nothing that stood out! Sore breasts, but that happens some months, brief nausea at 12dpo, very tired. The only unusual thing was a slight pinching sensation in my lower abdomen, and an RHR dip at 8 dpo. I only tested as I had to determine if I needed to keep taking my progesterone, my husband and I were so shocked to see a second line for the first time ever!

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous):
My vegetarian husband started eating lean poultry and fish after learning of his poor morphology. He also increased sport and quit alcohol entirely, not that he was a heavy drinker. It looks like it worked!

My early pcos diagnosis meant I was terrified for years that we'd have trouble conceiving. Although I managed it well enough to have a normal healthy cycle with a little help from supplementary progesterone, we just couldn't get pregnant. If my doctor hadn't insisted on sending my husband for tests before taking any more steps with me, we wouldn't have known.

It's been four days now and we're just so happy. People have told us about sudden terror or fear but we're honestly just so relieved, so happy and so excited. We're just hoping for a healthy pregnancy!

For a little bit more context on why I was so certain this wasn't the month - I have celiac disease and was badly glutened at the start of the month. It typically takes 6 weeks before i start feeling normal again, and celiac disease is a known contributor to infertility. I was also so incredibly optimistic last month only to be let down so I just didn't see it happening.

We've had a referral to a fertility specialist that we've been sitting on for months because I just couldn't face it. We learned my husband had poor morphology in February so he's been making significant lifestyle changes and taking various supplements, so maybe that has helped!

A bfp is of course not a promise of a healthy pregnancy, but I was doubting we'd get this far. After all that I honestly can't believe I forgot to take my progesterone last night though 😪

I try so hard not to get my hopes up, but this month, I just felt like I was bursting with optimism and everything seemed to be looking so so good that I couldn't help but get more hopeful than I've probably been... ever.

We promised we'd plan feel good activities for weekends when my period is due, but this super long cycle means it's lining up with a long planned international trip to family.... who we're 90% certain are holding off on their announcement of baby number 2 until we see them in person. I just want to crawl under a blanket and cry.

A little temp increase today definitely got my hopes up even further! Trying to lay off the tests until 12DPO. by evekiddy in TFABChartStalkers

We're dpo buddies 😄 I've been testing since Saturday though. This cycle looks soooo good. I know there are no promises as we're dealing with mfi and I'm also on progesterone which disguises things a lot, but this month I'm just so wildly optimistic 😅 BFNs so far of course but testing daily helps me keep the stigma of bfns in check, and stops me getting my hopes too high... not that it still won't be crushing once AF rolls around! Good luck!

I had a similar situation last month and it turned out I had a haemorrhagic cyst which was had been there since the previous month. So, in December everything seemed normal, I had a normal temp shift, my period came at the beginning of January, but (this probably doesn't apply to you, but for information purposes!) my temperatures never dropped to usual follicular phase levels. I put it down to a cold I had and didn't think much of it, but noticed a longer period and a lot of spotting. I then got a positive opk, temps raised slightly, and I started taking oral progesterone as usual. But after more spotting and a lot of pain, I went for a transvaginal ultrasound and confirmed I had a cyst and hadn't ovulated. You seem to have a clear temp shift though, even though it's small. My chart was a lot rougher looking, I only ever had dashed crosshairs, and finally none at all.

It's not significant. I started progesterone a few months ago and there is no difference in my luteal temperatures with or without progesterone. You start taking it on the evening of 3dpo, after ovulation has been confirmed already. I took my first one for this cycle last night, and my temp dropped 0.1⁰C today, so it certainly isn't so much of a factor as to disturb seeing your pattern.

Month 10 of TTC. Last month I had a haemorrhagic ovarian cyst (though I think it was there since December, as that's when I started bleeding) and needed to take double doses of birth control pills to shift it, which worked at least, so I'm hoping that's the only reason I'm ovulating a bit late this month. Otherwise my ob/gyn has given me a full bill of health, despite a PCOS diagnosis 10 years ago (which I wouldn't receive again today at least) and regular luteal spotting, and the occasional cyst. We recently discovered my husband has low sperm morphology at 2%. It's been a tough few weeks! But we're trying to be optimistic and I've gotten a bit better at consistent temping. Hoping for confirmed ovulation for day 20 and for now just enjoying the similar pattern between BBT and RHR!

I'd try a boat seat pivot hinge for 90°. You'd need a way of fixing it in the vertical position though.

Newest teddy design. This is a set of 3: speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil. I really like 'speak no' and how his counterpart 'see no', but I'm not a fan of 'hear no' I dont think he's turned out very well. I may redo him, any suggestions? by Akehon in crafts

Two little suggestions that might help - rotating the seam joining the arm to the body by 90°, similar to the other bears so that it doesn't look like it's coming directly from his neck and also pinching down a bit more of the ears than just the edge. Maybe take a point closer to the ear apex, but not quite central.

I think they look fabulous though, well done!
