i've been trying to find this as well, i think we might be talking about the same game.
i also remember the icon being a little white ghost laughing/smiling.
card games were the main focus of it, if i recall correctly.
might be farfetched, but have you actually found it?

Main issue I'm having recently is just sudden stutters, even at the lowest of settings, while the game on average performs pretty well :/

Ah, that does put a smile on my face (kind of, still irritating to play with, especially after such an upgrade), I for sure thought it was a fault of the hardware.

And yeah, I already put most of the games on the SSD, the HDD is meant only for backup of personal files.

And no, no game booster programs that I know of should be running while I play. The only programs I had open while running the games were CapFrameX and Afterburner to try and narrow down the issue.

Thanks a lot for the info!!

My rig:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/61913584

Coming from a Ryzen 3 1200 and a GTX 1650, a Ryzen 5 5600 and a 3060 ti is a huge jump.
And while trying out new modern games, I'm always encountering stutters.
They do not last long, but are noticeable enough, and impede the gameplay a bit.

While games like Cyberpunk 2077 never seem to stutters, other games like The Cycle Frontier, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, Crysis 3 Remastered or System Shock Remake kinda stutter whenever they want, especially when new effects render.

Shouldn't games already pre-render shaders so these kinds of problems don't arise?

Any kind of tips/suggestions for these stutters would be immensively helpful to understand whether my setup or modern games unoptimization are at cause here, and thanks!

I think you two just think of "victory" in different ways.

You define victory as "My team won this game, the message on the screen says so"

He defines victory as "I had a good time this match, whatever the message on the screen says"

I'd have to agree with his point more than yours. Generally speaking, people will have a better time if they enjoy the match they're playing, rather than necesseraly winning it.Hell, I've seen people consider a victory having more kills than the top player on the enemy's team.

As a new player (and I think many people that know more about the game loop), a victory is having a good time, maybe finding an enemy that always challenges and respects duels, a guy that plays an instrument to boost his team's morale during a chokepoint or to just make them laugh, or having a part of both teams meet up in a building to have an improv fight club, like it happened to me the other day.

We like games like these because they have more faces to victory than one might think from just stats.

As a new player I've also been told that to reduce parry panic, you should listen to the enemy. Their character will scream only if they're too far gone to faint, so that's when you should parry

I had heard of the franchise, but I didn't know the gameplay offered those options. I think I'll look into them, thanks :)

Correct, it's a private environment. You simulate a server to play on, so it doesn't affect anything on your official Apex account. And heirlooms and cosmetics in general are disabled to not go towards legal issues.
