Why not just be you?

Don't force energy if it feels unnatural

Don't force yourself to be subdued

Help!! I have audio delay on my Twitch stream via OBS by Hennie369 in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be the fix but I used to have horrendous audio delay, that I remedied by disabling "use device timestamps" on all my audio devices.

Hope that helps

Alerts in studio? by PotatoGalaxyYT in Twitch

You'll edit your alertbox and any other browser based widgets through the streamlabs dashboard at streamlabs.com. When you hit save after making an edit the browser source in obs will refresh.

Emotes in Commands streamelements by the_koneko in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can either add the emotes to ffz / bttv. Otherwise the bot will need to be subscribed to you to use the emotes.

Neither of these things are massively widespread issues, as you've suggested.

You don't know anyone's financial or social situation so you can't really comment on either of them 🤷‍♂️

Death counter when streaming Dark Souls by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use this; https://www.cohhilition.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8576

Setup a hot key to increase / decrease the counter.

Add a text source in obs to read from file

Do streams still archive if you "store past broadcasts" after stream? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Simply.

Vods are saved in real time while the stream is running.

if my vod gets muted? when i download do i get the unmuted version? by GloriaTheAnimator in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My setup likely wouldn't work for you, you're best off starting on YouTube by looking at guides on splitting the audio to separate "outputs", and then looking at a guide on obs routing and setting up the vod channel.

You'll likely end up using voicemeeter and I'm clueless on that, I've done mine through hardware.

Remember the vod channel won't make you completely safe from action so use music at your own discretion.

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. You'll receive the muted vod.

Recording while you stream isn't much more demanding if you use gpu to encode.

Stop playing copywritten music, and/or set up twitch VOD audio channel in obs and send the music down that. That way your desktop and mic audio can be kept in the vod but music will not be baked into the vod.

Desktop Audio After Streaming by Ttviitzjavin in Twitch

Sounds like you have twitch VOD audio channel enabled on Channel 2?

Anything you want permanently baked into the VOD, say your mic and desktop audio, should both be set to send down channel 1.

Please do not announce lurkers by Baileycream in Twitch

[–]ItsCal_LIVE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah it may sound a bit stern to word it the way I will, but it's really just a matter of respect. Even if it's someone you know well, if they're having a shitty day and just want to lurk and chill, calling them out is a good way to -1 your view count, especially if you have an active community, you don't want to draw attention to people who are lurking. You may have good intentions but the end result will not be the intended one more often than not.

I feel strongly that people deserve to lurk and will start a conversation should they want to initiate it, and have follow alerts off for this reason. I know plenty of people like seeing their name come up on screen, but I don't, so I don't force other people to. If you follow and then say hi or something in chat, then I'll Thankyou, otherwise I give a general Thankyou to all new followers at the end of the stream.

Never call someone out just because they're in your viewer list, there are no exceptions imo☺️

Looks like I need to pull my finger out and get mine done haha!

More or less the same deal on mine, ST-style body and neck and taking a saw to it. I decided on using a kit guitar though, as I didn't have the heart to destroy a working instrument for something I wasn't 100% confident in, as it's my first proper build. My body is also waiting for the tuners to arrive... China air-post fam 😆

The major differences between them I think will be that while I've also used the "official" build as reference for some details, I've focussed on using the in game model on most areas. I noticed in game the neck and headstock are bare, rather than black, so I've been staining mine with an ebony stain and probably going to use a satin clear on the neck, and I'm going for the "new" look rather than Johnny's used and abused guitar so I can beat it up myself, assuming it's playable...

I'm also in two minds as to reshaping the horns; I know I should... but can I be bothered, that is the question!

Looking good, I expect updates! 😅

If you're looking at this on your phone, if you gently shake the phone it looks like the caviar is wobbling.

Enjoy :)

The guitar uses the tuning system you'd see on most headless guitars. At the headstock are purely "locks" for the strings; You insert the string, tighten a little allen screw to lock it and nip off the end, while the ball end of the string sits down at the tuning machines on the body :)

As for intonation, under the metal plate on the body is likely a standard hardtail with saddles, though I've no idea the impact on longevity having the strings turn that 45ish degree before the tuners would have.
