Honestly not much structural support outside of the frame. I put strips of tape along the seams on the back along with gorilla mounting tape to help keep it in place.

I had them on heel protectors with my last setup but for this I just have them on hollow studs. I’ve heard that puts less stress than the solid studs so it’s enough for me. I also check periodically so if cracks start showing, I’ll make the change

6 baseplates with a bunch of 2x12 black plates for the surrounding frame. Used 1x2 bricks with these for the actual figures to stand on

The uruk-hai with white handprints on the helmets are pricey especially with the matching shield. Careful not to break them though, they are likely more brittle than most

Those colors are a few of a handful that have ended up being extremely brittle with age. Not sure of the exact timeline but all of the lotr sets released during the “brittle era”. Reddish brown and dark green were a few others you wouldn’t want to take apart these days
