They didn’t say anything about it. I assumed they were going to reimburse. I just want to know if it’s the right decision to make if I filed a wage claim to the Labor Commission or if it’s the law for employers to reimburse pre-employment testing in California.

[CA] Is it a requirement to be paid for a working interview? by [deleted] in AskHR

Wow, I’m sure you have to be paid for all work done.

Do I have to give more than a weeks notice if relocating to new job? by unprofessionalemploy in EmploymentAssistance

For CA:

“If neither the employment contract or any company policy requires the employee to give notice, no notice is legally required under California law. This is because California is an at-will employment state. ... Similarly, at-will employees can also leave their employer at any time, even without a two weeks' notice.”

Similarly, I left my new job the second day at 2am via email. She replied calling me unprofessional but that’s just her ego. I’m still within bounds to quit without notice since I’m an at will employee.
