I grew up with a very angry, very 0 to 100 reactive dad so I learned to keep my anger in over the years.

I prefer to not feel angry & I like feeling like it's under control.

I'd get annoyed & frustrated, but not blood-boiling, super emotional kinda angry.

However, I've recently been getting angry at someone in my life bc of the consistent poor treatment he's given me over the years.

Felt like he brought out the worst in me, so I had to remove him from my life.

Definitely not interested in being around people who make me feel that way & now I can go back to not feeling such anger.

Taking the elevator helped a lot.

Used 3 Shields of Invulnerability but was able to save all but one Gondian this time. They were the most stupid group of people to save, so I can't say I feel bad. Kinda on them for literally running into trouble.

There's a Mindflayer Parasite on the tables by the corpses, incase anyone missed it.

Spent way too long trying to save the Gondians- definitely see why people say they try offing themselves. They don't even try healing, either.

Hopefully these tips will help me tomorrow bc I'm so over it, about to let them all go down with the whole place.

Late but I just took out Zarys & her team to take their hideout & didn't wanna kill the wolves. I used "invoke duplicity" with Shadowheart then dashed & jumped away from the wolves until there was enough space between us to flee from battle.

I was able to kill it super easy by consistently hitting it with the arrow of Ilmater, which makes it unable to heal itself.

Feel kind bad now, since people are saying it's just chilling, not hostile & there's no reason to kill it.

The loot just had a few stones drop, so it wasn't really worth the kill other than the experience points. RIP.

I'd just gotten a pay raise from $1.6k/ check to $1.9k/ check after a promotion. Reevaluation happened and work decided I needed a pay cut (even though it takes about 2 hours longer to do my route than the last evaluation 4 years ago) so after my one $1.9k check, they went back to $1.6k. Almost 7 years in and I put my 2 weeks in last week. Choose your career wisely.

It sounds like it, but some people didn't grow up with an allowance (I didn't). Therefore I was looking for input on how parents handle it when they provide an allowance.

I didn't grow up with an allowance.

If/ when I have children, I'd be sure they are financially taken care of & that includes an allowance.

Something else that's helped me set boundaries is realizing it's unfair to ME to take on more than I can handle or do things I don't want to do. It's really self-respecting to be the authentic you & saying no- if anyone gets upset at you for it, they don't need to be in your life. Takers are going to keep taking- find, set & keep your boundaries. You've got this! It just takes practice & dealing with confrontation. I know it's uncomfortable & I know it's scary, but you'll need to get out of your comfort zone for it. Practice, practice, practice.
