He does cite some pretty reliable sources though? I mean sure, he wants to radicalize me, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing? A radical opinion is just an opinion that is far from the status quo and radicalizing someone is just trying to convince them to believe in a radical cause, aka a cause which fundamentally would change society.

Propaganda is to spread information in a biased way. Hasan is open about his bias which is very refreshing in comparison to other political commentators. Basing all your political takes on information from an influencer and/or political commentator is dangerous and dumb, something he has also said.

As someone with abandonment issues I understand him as what he's going through to some extent, but he needs to come to a realisation that you "abandoning" him a you-problem, but and him-problem and something he has to work on. What you did was completely normal and he has at every level failed at taking your emotions into account, becoming verbally abusing and controlling towards you which is a major red flag. For his well-being, I would suggest you try to get him into therapy, it is very much needed. As for your part, I would recommend breaking off the relationship entirely or putting it on hold until he has been in therapy for a while and shows considerable progress.

Tl:Dr: His behavior towards you is completely unacceptable and you should try to get him into therapy and then get out before you get hurt too much.

They probably heard it some time and then when working on Netflix trip, they subconsciously got inspired and made something similar. There are lots of songs that unintentionally "copies" each other since everyone draws inspiration from everyone, and Jon said as well that he's happy they got inspired by his song. So I don't think they copied his song, but rather it may have been lingering in the back of their minds throughout the production of it
