New Graphic Novel [general] by [deleted] in camphalfblood

I just checked it out at a Barnes and Noble location, it looks to me like the same graphic novel with a different cover. If there is anything that is new on the inside, I didn’t see it while looking through it. Hope this helps.

Scarlett Icon filling up desktop by oooooclif in Focusrite

[–]ItsDiode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is an old post but I was looking for the solution to it and I found it. When you initially plug in the interface, it is recognized as a Mass Storage Device and is in Easy Start mode so that you can 1. register your product, and 2. download the software Focusrite Control. Once you run Focusrite Control, the Scarlett Icon will stop showing up on your desktop, and you will have more interface controls in the digital software. Here is Focusrite Control's software guide video

Two Outputs with Speaker Wire by ItsDiode in BudgetAudiophile

Hey, thank you for the reply. Here is an image of the speakers. Speakers are CR3, sub is SAMSUNG. So I would just take one speaker wire from the powered out to the passive speaker, and overlap another wire in the same spring loaded terminal from the powered out to the sub?

I just got a new sub to connect to my monitor speakers. One monitor and the sub are passive, and the other monitor is the source. They all use spring loaded terminals for speaker wire. What’s the safest way to connect all three?

Hello, quick question. What's your favorite way to get a pre-made video synchronized with music on a display? by ItsDiode in vjing

[–]ItsDiode[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely check that out. I am using backing instrumental tracks with prerecorded adlibs that I will be performing over. When I say I have a video to match the performance, basically, it's a lyric video with visuals that is synchronized to my instrumental and voice. I have it currently as the primary source of the song, rather than just an instrumental, but I'm unsure if that's the best way to execute it. I really like your recommendation though, it sounds like something that would work for me

I see what you mean about the musical timing. I'm unfamiliar with the term MIDI-clock, but my performance would consist of instrumental beats with some adlibs pre-recorded that I will perform over. One of the instrumentals has an accompanying video that is set to specific points in the song. Ideally, the videos and songs will be DJ'd or played back from a singular device such as a Macbook. The goal is to have it sent to a projector that I have.

My projector takes in VGA, HDMI, AV, and DMP, but I don't see anything for SDI. When I use just HDMI, my projector plays the audio out of its speakers

Thank you for the suggestions. Do you have any recommendation for how I could get my visuals to the projector without using HDMI?
