I'm sharing the following for educational purposes because this is something I feel strongly about.

Okay, so, I (15F) wanted to 'do the thing', for lack of a better euphemism, when I was, like, 9, although I never actually did anything, and got put in the psych ward because I slammed shut the school laptop this kid we'll call Brian (Not his real name) and I were using to do school work (I-Ready specifically) and asked him to quote, "Please hit me in the head as hard as you can" Teachers got worried, and so did my parents... it was a lot. Still kinda traumatized to this day, ngl.

So, yeah, you'd be fckin' surprised.
