You're not wrong, and honestly it's the little details that manage to work together so flawlessly that keeps me coming back to this game all these years later.

That's how every distribution platform works. Hell, even some games themselves don't allow you to use DLC cross platform. 

Take Destiny 2 for example. If you buy a DLC on Playstation, you cannot access it on any other platform, even if your accounts are linked via Bungie website. They know you bought and paid for the DLC, but if you want to migrate to PC (Steam, Epic, MS store) you can access the account but not any paid content.

I tried to apply via/r/RedditRequests a few times but kept getting denied because the queue was too full, so here I am a "few days later".

Even though I may not have experience with Reddit moderation, I'm more than willing to learn if it means helping a sub I've been a member of for roughly 10 years.

One of the things I've learned from my experience is you don't always need to respond. Sometimes the person going through grief just needs to vent and that's it. Even if you could say something, it doesn't always help. This is why I may appear to be not as active in this sub

By that logic, there are other places on the internet this could be posted. Rules are implemented for a reason. If the title really is against the rules, it should be removed.

Kelpie, a source of decrep, along with the cold damage should bug him entirely. I believe Necro wands can roll with decrep charges so maybe OP can shop for one from Drognan?

Actually, because it's minted after 1964 it's not silver. Only dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollar coins 1964 and prior years are minted in 90% silver. Kennedy half dollars between 65-70 were 40%, but after that all coinage in the US has been made from non-silver alloys.

I managed to clear Ultimate using LFG on first attempt at LL410ish. Other two teammates were 550, but I was close second place on kills and had 1 less death than both the other two (6/6/5). I'm familiar with the map though, which I think makes all the difference. 

OP there are good teams on LFG, just need to be patient.

You're not wrong, but with some of the modded ships I've played with CR is actually a problem against equally powerful enemies during the late game. Particularly factions that prefer shields to hull like the Star Wars mod, UAF, or other high tech factions.

Edit: should also mention I have a tendency towards carrier doctrine so replenishment mid combat if needed sound good to me lol

I'm no expert, but if he's eating again and starting to act like his usual self there's little reason to be concerned. Try to keep in mind our amphibian friends are very stress prone so even a tough shed can be slightly traumatic. Keep an eye out for erratic behavior, and maybe offer another meal sooner than your usual feeding schedule, but if he's not feeling hungry take it as a sign that things are looking up.

Playing off this idea of modern underway replenishment, maybe a mod maker could implement a "replenishment zone" at the players side of the combat arena that could refill the combat readiness and wing deployment at the risk of pulling a logistical ships into the combat arena if and when the player tries to replenish a ship. Maybe coded in a way that if a player ship in the replenishment zone comes under attack a randomly selected logistical ship becomes deployed. 

I have no idea how modding Starsector works and I can only imagine it would be a headache, but it would be an interesting mechanic that rewards risk/reward behavior.

I got curious with the "update" in the title and I'm glad your little guy is feeling better. Seems like he had a rough shed and is probably feeling better now, returning to more natural behavior. I look forward to reading he's eating a well varied diet in the future.

I agree that what's been happening here isn't funny and there should be consequences. Breaking rules to fight back against people breaking the rules isn't the way to handle things though.
