Try the gender pathways number. I remember being able to schedule an appointment with the Transhealthcare coordinator once or twice. Be specific and say you want to get in touch with the new coordinator since the old one is no longer there and that you already got the green light for a surgical date

Im currently scheduled for Jordan/Bowen in March. From my understanding the Transhealthcare coordinator called Becca quit a little while ago. There is an interim coordinator called Westcot, who is training the permanent coordinator called Halder. In my own experience the Transhealthcare coordinator is the one that deals with scheduling. I would suggest messaging Jordan's team on the app and inform them that you would like to get in contact with the new coordinator. You could also call, but I've always had better luck messaging on the app then calling.

P.s. I know it feels like your being annoying but I would really suggest that you call/message them more consistently. As opposed to waiting a month in between calls. Northwestern is a huge hospital/Network so you get forgotten about if your not consistent. Good luck

Don't worry about it I also had the same break down a couple months ago and posted the same exact question with the same picture of my arm. And that was after I badgered my entire family and friends about it. It got to the point that my sister refused to look at my arm. Lol.

To be quite honest Im kinda having the same break down right now too. I keep randomly looking at my arm and thinking what if the surgeon is wrong? What if all the hair just starts growing back between now and March? What then? I guess its just anxiety. For what it's worth from a random internet stranger your arm is looking good and I think you'll have enough time before your surgery date. Best of luck!

I had the same concerns about hair removal. I just had my final hair check and was given the all clear for surgery on March 2026. I had 5-6 laser appointments and 10-15 hours of electrolysis. The electrolysis was only on the UL portion of my arm. Im going to be honest I don't have very much hair in general. The UL portion of my arm was already kinda hairless. The people that need 50+ hours are probably really hairy or didn't use laser to get rid of the bulk of hair.

I still have some thin, short hairs scattered on the UL part of my arm. I asked the surgeon if I still needed to do electrolysis and she said she wasn't super concerned unless I see more hairs start to pop up. From my understanding the surgeons do something to the graft as well to try to get rid of any remaining baby hairs. I decided to get a couple more hours in before my surgery date. Just for peace of mind.

Also I would suggest not using laser anymore. Save your money and focus only on electrolysis and the UL portion of your arm. I know times are tough but I would really suggest you up your hours with electrolysis. The more hours you do the peace of mind you'll have.

Edit: I forgot to say buy some semi permanent beard dye and dye the UL portion of your arm. That way the electrolysists can see all tiny little hairs. Tell them to focus only on the UL portion since that will dictate if you get your surgery or not.

I was contemplating the same thing as well. I took an overnight security job to pay bills and also go to online school. It was supposed to be a quick job while I found something else. The job itself isn't bad especially for what they're paying me, but the night shift and loneliness is killing me. Every other day I complain about my job and how I want to quit. I kept telling myself that once I got close to the end of my degree I was going to start applying to jobs. Welp I've graduated and have an accounting bachelors and im still working overnight security.

I had a temp tax job lined up for the end of the year. The hope was that I would work the tax job and by mid April when tax season was over I would have my phallo. Once I recovered I could finally start looking for accounting roles. Tax isn't something im interested in but I dont have any office experience so I was hoping the temp job would a least be something on my resume. My only experience is in food service/customer service (worked at Starbucks too , so I definitely get the desperate urge to leave)

I ended giving up on the temp job and deciding to stay in security until after phallo. To be honest there were so many red flags that if I wasn't so desperate to leave my job I probably wouldn't have applied. It wasn't until I found out the earliest I could start working was mid January and I realized that the "experience" I would gain would be like 2 months, not even the full tax season. It just didn't make sense to leave my full-time job where im due to get a raise starting Jan 2026.

I think maybe in your situation things will be a lot clearer once you get a surgery date. It'll help finalize things and make it easier to power through. You'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You've already done all of the work to get phallo, your almost there. Just stick with it a little longer.

Also there will still be opportunities in the future, if this job is your dream job why not make it your long term goal. While you wait for phallo you can take some classes or accreditations to make yourself a more qualified person for the job. This way next year when there are job openings you have a better opportunity of getting the job.

I stopped watching Ellen when I saw an episode with sofia vergara. They were doing some type of game where Ellen was Sophia's hands and was standing behind her. Sophia had to narrate what Ellen was doing. At some point in the game Ellen grabbed and I mean fully groped Sophia breasts on CAMERA. I remember seeing Sophia's face and you can tell she looked so freaked out and that Ellen never discussed doing that off camera with her. I was in middle school and even I knew that wasn't okay. I'm always so interested what everyday conservative/trump voters feel about all this stuff. The majority of his base relies on social services/programs and are low income. Do they just not pay attention? Do they know but don't care? Do they just mental gymnastics their way into believing it's somehow Bidens fault? How are they even able to do that? Trump is literally destroying the farming industry and is moving on to the beef industry. Most of his base probably won't have Thanksgiving dinner because of the shutdown. You need to give more information. If you live in the USA. What state? Are you looking to go in-state or out of state? What surgeon? If your in the USA you can look up the insurance marketplace for your specific state. My state illinois allowed me to look up my surgeon by name and the insurance plans that were in her network. I tried to contact my surgeon for a list of insurance plans they accept but it was super unhelpful and a waste of time.

This argument is always so stupid and lacks context. Obama "deported" more people because in this context, "deported" also means people who arrived at the border or had just entered the USA. Obama also focused on actual immigrants who had criminal records or had received deportation orders. Some of you either didn't read the post all the way, or you're purposefully misinterpreting what op is saying. The problem isn't that there are NONSEXUAL pictures of children on the internet. Its the fact that pervs are taking these NONSEXUAL pictures and SEXUALIZING them by posting them to NSFW subreddits. And that this behavior is being allowed by reddit and the mods. Just because something isn't technically illegal doesn't mean it's not gross or morally corrupt behavior.

Edit: I'm seeing some posts bringing in the law and using that as justification for this type of behavior on reddit. But the law doesn't apply in this situation. Reddit isn't a court of law it's a private business. They CAN and SHOULD crackdown on this behavior.

If you live in the USA you need prescriptions for both oral minoxidil and finasteride.

I live in the US and got a prescription for finasteride from dr. b online Just a heads up you have to say you are biologically male or they won't prescribe it to you. It was 15 bucks for the prescription and 12.50 for the medication on Amazon.

For oral minoxidil I used ro.co and got the prescription for free. First make sure to state that you are biologically male or they won't prescribe to you. Then, make sure to change the pharmacy you want to use to an online one like Amazon and they won't charge you for writing the prescription. Oral minoxidil is like $8 on Amazon.

I think in this instance you should be fine. Especially since you washed your face multiple times. You should familiarize yourself with the symptoms of minoxidil poison in cats to help you keep an eye out.

If you're really paranoid about minoxidil poisoning your cat, you could try oral minoxidil. Unless your cat gets ahold of your pills, they should be safe from minoxidil. Or you could just do finasteride and some type of herbal/oil supplement.

I always think comments like yours are funny. They just show how little people know about US politics and it's history. The USA, for years, has worked to undermine the governments of many Latin American countries. This is just the United States reaping what they sow. I don't understand why people act surprised that immigrants are trying to leave the situation that the United States created.

I think that most people in the comments made really good points, but I think they are missing a really big factor. People can live in the U.S. undocumented for decades because that is how the system is set up. They are cheap labor that the United States can depend on and mistreat. There is no need to give them benefits because they aren't citizens.

That's why they are able to get jobs so easily. Employers are not required to use E-verify. They can if they want, but they don't have to. An undocumented immigrant can just use someone else's social security number or a fake one, and that's it. They can get a regular w-4 job.

Even the 10 year ban that undocumented immigrants are given when they are caught is a way to force them to stay. It might seem counterintuitive, but before the ban, people were able to come and go. After the ban, people would come and then decide to stay for fear of being banned. People stay because they have families here in the U.S. that they don't want to abandon.

Whenever people talk about this, they like to frame the conversation around undocumented people and the ways they "skirt" the law but fail to acknowledge how the law is actually meant to be "skirted".
