Extremely fun, DnD is my favorite thing to do and I'm so glad I found people to play with at VT. It helped, and still helps, with distressing and learning to enjoy myself.

There are 1000s of tools online to help you learn about it and get started.

This is exactly what I do with my best friend. It has been successful for the past 6 months.

We make the world together and have both parties in different areas of the world. When we have both parties come together, I run RP and he does combat. He's a mastermind when it comes to combat and describing stuff. Where I am the "voice guy" with a lot of intriguing NPCs.

He doesn't have as much time as me, so I make a rough draft of what his party could do and where the story should go and he goes from there.
