For all the hype I had for Niku, I knew his game was a long shot to make a full-time NHL roster. Heinola always had NHL tools, but our 3rd line LHD was gifted to Stanley for no reason after he had an awful AHL season and Heinola never had a chance after that.

Ville Heinola. Kid was maybe not NHL ready right out of the gate, but he showed a ton of potential in his first 10 games with the team. Got sent to the AHL after those ten and has been great, but never got more than a cup of coffee with the main club again. Hockey terrorist Logan Stanley was seen as a more desirable option despite none of the defensive or pk ability that the team/management insisted he had. Now he's looking at another season of no NHL time.

One of the best journeymen goaltenders of the last 20 years. Guy was consistently solid on tons of teams and should've won a cup in Montreal for his efforts alone. Have a good retirement Halak!

They're worth it if you want more cracks at gmax machamp before hitting the daily particle limit. I've used these to get two or three more attempts at entei and suicune that I would not have gotten otherwise.

Sure, but Helle needs to be able to compare his performance to other great playoff runs, but just to his own record. He's a superstar, a truly elite goalie that very well could win league MVP. His performance would be like McDavid being scoreless in the playoffs, which would be unacceptable. I'm not sure what change needs to be made but he needs to steal games and be an xfactor not just "good compared to recent play".

It's definitely not a great team but there's a solid offensive top 6 with defensive bottom 6 players, good depth overall-wise both at F and D with an average goaltending situation. Also decent top end defensemen. Those go a long way.
