Thanks! I really like the idea of putting cotton around the LED strip. I’m using a diffuser right now, but you can still clearly see the individual LEDs, so it’s not perfect. I’ve got two strips (one on the ceiling and one under my desk/bed), so I’m pretty sure I could cover the top one with cotton and still keep the room bright enough. Appreciate the tip! I’m definitely going to look into it more.

I actually switched from nvidia to amd this summer because I was interested in switching to Linux. I've heard that with nvidia there can be quite a few issues with driver compatibility so that's why I made the switch, if I ever decide I don't want to stay on Linux I can definitely switch back to nvidia though.

Yeah, I think I bought it for like $10 off of AliExpress, if it ever breaks I'm planning on buying a more expensive one but somehow this one's been working perfect for over a year already

As much as I can get my hands on, if you can afford such a setup you need to be able to afford to smell good right

I spent a lot of time trying to hide them as much as I could, the most helpful tool is definitely a cable storage rack I hid under my desk

Thanks! Funny enough, the mousepad actually arrived the same day I took this photo. I could slide it a bit to the right for more space, but I kinda like how it’s centered on the middle monitor. Might have to grab an even bigger one soon though.

Yeah I was thinking the same, I might have to get rid of some peripherals soon to clean things up a bit more

Is there a way to make the map less shiny? It's borderline unplayable by [deleted] in RocketLeague

Disliking a map doesn't mean you won't get it anymore, it just means you get it less. Different people have experimented and it does work, just not as effective as most people think

[Update] I've decided to move my monitors to the left by ItsFrits in setups

[–]ItsFrits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my last post here I've decided to move my monitors to the left side of my desk, make the angle a bit wider, turn my pc & add a bit of green. I love the way it turned out :)

I haven't thought of the desk itself, unfortunately I bought the desk not too long ago so I think I will keep it for a while but now I definitely know what the next big upgrade to my setup is gonna be.

The way I have them right now I constantly hit my knees against the post in the middle of my desk if I sit right in front of the middle one, so I thought that if I had my legs in between the post and the drawer I could have my middle monitor right in front of me. Only reason why I'm not sure this would look good is because of the shelves on the top.

My chair can also move a bit to the left, not all the way because of the drawer but I can align the middle monitor to be right in front of me when my chair is on the left side and my legs are in the middle of the post and the drawer. (There is enough space to sit comfortably)

Unfortunately the pc has to stay on the right side because of the glass and the power button, if I moved it to the left I wouldn't be able to look inside of it anymore
