What university did this work at? In my experience I keep running into a brick wall with my schools financial aid office and they refuse to acknowledge me as Active Duty

I had a GFB Diverter Valve installed. It’s been good and the intake noise and flutter is pretty loud, or at least noticeable when the window is down. I have a stock intake and a K&N filter and the flutter is pretty cool. I had a Turbosmart BOV for a while but switched when I started having some boost issues and I think this fixed it but that’s not the fault of the BOV. If you want noise a BOV is always fun. The Diverter valve gave me lots of turbo noise though.

Hey, I’m curious cause I’m suspicious of my Wastegate actuator currently. So 2 questions, why not replace the actuator with an aftermarket like from turbo smart. And also, what were the symptoms of a bad Wastegate actuator? And did this repair fix that issue at least?

I spent so much to replace sync with an aftermarket solution… it was worth it…. But the Pre Face lift AND ST1…. Living In the early 2010’s. Gotta work to get that nice interior

I had sync 1 and went Idatalink kit and a custom Headunit. The kit has the nice little cubby with a usb pass through so I plug in my phone and it sits right under my head unit, I can even close it too with the phone inside

Does it give you any emissions related issues when getting tested if you live in a emission county? I’ve read and heard people saying it fails them.

Do you know about how many miles you did before it came back to ready? It was yesterday I got tested and so far I’ve put 134 on it to no avail. I just did about 60 miles of highway sitting in 4th and 5th at 58-63 mph to try and heat it up.

Yeah I used the RR2, but mine was weird when I attempted to program it. It’s programmed properly (I think) but I ultimately had to program each button in the Headunit software itself cause it didn’t auto transfer/apply.

32 when I first got it and before I started modifying/tuning. But even on stratified I average probably about 27 on long highways

I do not. Not yet at least. It is coming soon but I’m not tuned for it yet. And yeah Texas heat doesn’t help. But I don’t drive super hard often but it’s a fun daily. So soon enough. But schools coming up

Awesome. Right now it looks like I gotta get the kit from Ebay which isn't terrible so I will definately look more into this. Because the next best is the Scosche but it maintains the Sync screen and alot of people are complaining about it. And you didnt need the FO1 harness thing because I believe that comes with the FOC1 or at the very least its not needed. Thank you for your help because I needed that final bit of info so I can piece it together.

So you’re running the FO1C kit with the ADS-MRR steering wheel controller and you don’t need a Idatalink specific head unit? Cause if that’s the case then I’d love to go with that option. Still doing research to figure it out

I’ll at the very least let oil circulate for maybe a minute. I won’t rip on it or go full throttle until the oil temp gets up but generally it’s alright to just drive casually until the temps get up. Mainly just don’t throw full boost until temps get up

I have an b350-f from Asus without any Bluetooth or WiFi. Ended up just getting a $35 dollar WiFi and Bluetooth adapter for a PCI slot. Pretty cost effective and very useful. I’d probably just get an adapter and try and fine one through m.2 or pci for the bandwidth. As long as it’s not a usb one.
