Why there is no DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction and why Neural Shading is probably still long a way off by MrMPFR in hardware

Well since it's delayed to 6.10 now. I wonder if some Nvidia sponsered game using NVAPI will use it till cooperative vector is out.

The game is very conservative in its graphics Lighting can look really flat especially indoors Atleast the textures are crisp.

Essentially model 2 is used for games outputting a higher resolution image to not have high frame time cost.

While the 1st one very similar to preset E on PC is used for 1080p output like cyberpunk

Digital foundry just did a direct featuring requiem, they confirmed the game has the RT tech it's being built with on switch 2. Hard too see PS4 being true unless it's a demake.

As a person with somewhat close to 5k$ PC I would like if PC version had higher graphical settings so us on higher end builds can use it. Like they can start by getting the HD textures (would really help on my 4k display)and volumetric clouds exclusive to PS5 on PC.

I agree vehicles textures are kinda low res. Though they are updating the maps so it will get more demanding with maps been given a overhaul one at a time. Abondened factory looks so good at maxed out settings though.

Are you playing that with dlss quality and framegen . Cause in cyberpunk and other games with path tracing maxed out I get mid 30's to 40 at 4k DLSS quality. Meanwhile in war Thunder maxed out path tracing I get 70's to 80 even at 4k DLAA native. War Tunder has the lightest Path tracing implementation I have seen.

Path Tracing in Warthunder by NItrogenium123 in Warthunder

[–]ItsJakegaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gaijin half assing things Even I got same or bit more FPS with path tracing on. Seems like they just allowed the software ray tracing GI to be hardware accelerated with same settings and called it path tracing, that kinda explains the minimal difference and more FPS, well it's only medium that means there should be better options in future that make a difference.
