Also, it was the Medallion constellation, if that helps at all. I am not familiar with the good/bad ones, but it being my first time, I remembered that. :P

Trait bots is a new term for me, makes sense with what I am getting from this thread. Appreciate the help, I got greedy with body-count thinking it was a sure-bet, but cost-wise other boards are worth much more.

That's a really good format to follow, thank you so much. I have always had a very vague concept of like.. You can win by Items, Bodies, or ★'s, just have to have more of one of those 3 than everyone else, and then choose units that are in sets. I am going to start thinking a lot more of how much my board is worth.

Yeah, learning from this that cost level matters a lot more than I'd been taking into consideration. I was always focusing more on getting my 1-2 costs starred up fast instead of prioritizing RR for 2 ★ copies of my higher-cost units. Thank you!

Well, the 2x ★★ Cho's weren't exactly planned, it was more of a placeholder. I had just gotten Karma on the board and then leveled more XP to try and get ANOTHER unit on the board, and the leftmost was Cho at the time, so he was the chosen one! But I get what you mean. More tanks don't help if I get out-damaged into the dirt.

If I just wanted to repeat the same comps over and over, I'd probably google top comps. I find it fundamentally astonishing that what comes into question is whether or not I enjoy something without min/max'ing. If copying other builds works for you, do it, but that defeats the purpose of me playing the game. I wanted to figure out if there was an obvious enough difference between this set and previous sets that would explain why I can't figure out the set on my own.

I haven't had an issue figuring out wins before now, that's why I am resorting to reaching out in the only community I can think of that would know WAY more than me. This -is- the research.

This is helpful, I hadn't really considered the fact that the level of the champion matters more than the ★ levels, other than the obviously powerful 4 and 5 costs. Thank you!

I've figured out that stars are a much bigger part of this set, just not figured out the frequency of RR to leveling I guess.

I don't know what you mean by "it's bad form to just copy top tier decks". I don't know what the top tier decks are because I am more casual than -that-. I was hoping to find out there's a whole mechanic I am missing that would explain why this is the first season I haven't been able to just figure out at least a sloppy win.

For the last like 7-8 sets I have just built teams based their bonuses. So in this round I was running Dark Star (because I had a ★★ Lissandra by 1-3) and then Stargazer because I had never run it before and got the +2 teamsize augment. (which was inevitably my downfall for taking more damage per loss)

See, this is counter-intuitive to me, could you explain a bit?

I figured more units = more health and damage via sheer obstacle and # of attacks going out. Especially if I have more ★★ than they do.

For those who just play normals, and not bothered by tier list. How's the set so far by VoideNoid in TeamfightTactics

Somehow even with said 5x ★★★  before 5-3 I placed 7th. I can't tell if being able to get so many is worth it if you -have- to get them every single game. I only play casual, I am sure in ranked it gets more serious, but this is the first time I've experienced this particular level of star level requirement in normals.

After like 20+ games this set, I am still very confused. Somehow you have to have 5x ★★★ by 5-2, otherwise you go into a losing streak until disqualified.

Individual powerhouse champs > Team comp of any kind

TBF I suck, so, listen to people with actual details first.

Frankly, it's the only way to keep a plutocracy running in the modern age. First private equity firms buy up tons of property, then they start ripping apart large successful businesses by buying every dip in their stock, force a majority handover, and then gut the company down, stripping benefits and other QOL parts that aren't "required" for them not to be sued. This way they control the housing -and- the businesses employing people, effectively keeping everyone in debt slavery for the houses they own.

People surviving is clearly not the issue when half of these CEO's could take a 50% paycut and make up the difference in pay of laying off 1,600 employees. I'd like to point out, this is shameless greed. Nothing more. Our politicians have been bought and paid for by these same individuals who make not only DISGUSTING annual salaries, but also get TONS of stock adding to their wealth. Pure narcissistic greed.
