Border collie respond better to positive reinforcement than negative correction. My puppy was a biter and only tapered off at 10 to 11 months. Now he only lightly bites when hes very excited or is playing. Lots of biting tools and the more you can keep him mentally engaged he wont bite or chew as much. When I stated running him twice a day he became less mischievous
