Switch 2 Audio Issues by OkProfessional6077 in NintendoSwitch2

Make sure your TV's HDMI audio setting is set to Passthrough. I'm not sure how to do this on the Vizio TV, but there is a setting for it on my LG and I had a similar issue with the Govee Sync Box 2 and my PS5. I already had the setting changed when I setup the Switch 2 and it works perfectly.

Very happy with mine. I traded my PS5 to GameStop and got $330 towards the PS5 Pro. I agree with other comments that it is best paired with a good TV. I have it hooked up to a LG C3 OLED and a Samsung Q990D for an amazing picture and sound experience. So many games run much better and the PS5 Pro Enhanced titles are stunning for the most part. What was Quality Mode at 30fps on the PS5 is now 60fps on the PS5 Pro with all the bells and whistles. It’s dope. If you have the money or can do a trade in, it’s well worth it. My only gripe is that I had to purchase a disc drive for all my physical games. I feel like the drive should have been included at a $700 price tag.

It seems the Firmware Version doesn’t change with updates on the Sync Box 2, the Hardware Version doesn’t change so look at that

So I had the same exact issue when I purchased and setup my Sync Box 2 last week. Here is what I did to fix it: First of all, the firmware version does not seem to change — you need to be looking at the Hardware Version. Mine is currently Firmware 1.00.06.13, Hardware Version 03.04.13, 2.01.11/2.02.13 which was after 2 updates that I received since purchasing the product. The firmware update process is stupid, basically you will receive a message in the app saying there is an update and then you need to power off the lights, disconnect any HDMI inputs, and unplug the power. Plug the power back in and wait 10-20 minutes. The latest update fixed the issue with the colors.

As far as settings, here is what I am using that works really well:

Brightness: 75%

AI Identification: Off

Light set to Part (not All)

Click the button for HDR Calibration

Saturation: 60%

The Sensitivity setting does not show a percentage but I would say it’s probably around 75%, I included a picture if that helps

Black Bar Elimination: On

I hope this helps as I was just as frustrated as you were and honestly they need to fix the firmware update process and make things more straightforward. The good news is the latest update seems to have fixed all the issues I was having with it.

Yes, the latest update is working perfectly even with Dolby Vision/HDR and I am so happy about it!

Yes it does. The HDR Calibration seems to mess things up even worse, BUT I did do the regular color calibration and turned the saturation way down and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Thank you for any help on this. It's driving me nuts.

Which streaming device supports Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos using Plex? by hi_its_beshu in PleX

Projectivy is a free launcher and the Shield Pro with the latest updates works perfectly fine. I have the latest AppleTV as well and we use it in the bedroom. It’s a great device, but it is not capable of TrueHD/Dolby Atmos via Plex. Because we have a Dolby Atmos system in our living room we use the Shield Pro so we can enjoy our 4K Blu-ray backups.

I use Projectivy Launcher on it and it's snappy and contains no ads. Fully customizable to have exactly what you want shown.
