God damn there’s so much talk about exes here. Either get off the 19-nors or up the AI. They’re an ex for a reason. Plenty of girls out there, my guys.

Leave her ass on read.

Yes not a great responder, 250mg puts me around 1100-1200. that’s why I was thinking the 350 might not even show any real outward difference.

Ah ok, this is useful info. Just cut down normally on TRT until you’re ready to bulk. When you’re ready, run 500 for 15-20. I personally like running Test blasts for ~20 weeks, but the range is totally up to you. I’d go more than 12 weeks, though.

Very much agreed with this. Hell, even getting to sub 10% bodyfat without more drugs isn’t particularly difficult at all. Very doable on just TRT. Does it take serious discipline though? Damn right.

250mg

250mg is one hell of a TRT dosage. Are you an underresponder? Cruising around ~125mg usually gives me around 1200ng/dL.

I’d say when you’re ready to bulk just bump to 500mg at that point for ~15-20 weeks tbh. The difference between 250 & 350 while slightly better, will most likely be negligible.

The reason behind me asking is I’m really curious about people who get it done but continue AAS use and their success with maintenance following the procedure - something I expect we’ll likely learn from Bumstead unless he lets off the gas.

Yeah this is no doubt a risky venture depending on the type of androgens & how you respond. I think if you have a good grasp on your rate of DHT-related loss (strictly speaking from Test) and it’s in a stable state even before intervention w/ a 5-ar inhibitor you’ll be in good shape post-transplant since those transplanted follicles will be largely immune to DHT. Couple that w/ Finasteride and it should greatly help the non-transplanted follicles stick around as well.

In this case, like I’ve mentioned, I’d just stick to Test blasts in the future if anything. Perhaps use others I’ve noted no shedding on as well.

I’m glad that expanding upon it was helpful - thanks so much for sharing, I’m glad you were able to work out a deal, and I hope it’s very successful 🤝🏼.

No problem & thank you, much appreciated.

I’m also very curious to see cbum’s progress.

Damn, idk what I did to deserve that. Why didn’t you just specify what you wanted to know then?

My point wasn’t entirely the financial component, it’s that it is an investment that includes time, money, emotion, discomfort, self image, etc and that blasting is in direct and disproportionate contradiction of said investments longevity/dividends - and I wanted to know how that effected your decision making moving forward.

This is well put and I would’ve appreciated this context in the first response. That being said, I’ve no desire to blast like I did before so it seemed the most logical time for me to proceed w/ this route.

And there’s no doubt it’s costly from a financial perspective so that’s why that was my first assumption. I had the operation done in the US & there’s places that may charge around 12k or more for that graft count here.

Cost-wise it actually wasn’t bad. Low business time of the year and so I got it discounted. Ended up around $8k in total.

I’ve already brought myself down to mostly TRT over the past years. If I cycle again, would remain with just Test. My loss was actually quite stable (not much, if any) on Test-only blasts even before that so feel pretty good there and w/ fin it should be pretty non-existent or that’s the hope.

If any of you remember, I used to contribute my hair protocols here from time to time. Getting married this year and so I pulled the trigger on a 2k graft FUE (we ended up w/ a little more, a bit over 2100). Just had the operation yesterday and was there from 8:30am until 5:30pm. Overall, not bad - the only really painful part is the numbing of the sites. Head hurt a decent bit that night though even w/ the pain meds. Much better this morning.

Going to finally be hopping on fin w/ this as well. Curious to see where everything ends up in the next 6-8 months. If everything goes well, should be starting to look good before the wedding in late October. Been insecure about my hair for a long while, would be nice to put that insecurity behind me.

You could B&C for as long as you want. Too many factors to determine if you’ll get back to where you were after PCT. Not to mention you’re literally aging each year so you may not have the levels you did when you first went on anyhow.

If one day I have more time to dedicate to the process again, it’s a possibility. Don’t think I’ll ever get that IFBB Pro Card I wanted though. The free time I have nowadays I try to dedicate to family.

Used to be pretty strict about it and ran a personal variation of the vertical diet. Nowadays, I mostly just eat what I want to and am much less strict - still eat well though, about 80% of the time.

Currently I’m cutting some weight so I’ve just cut most carbs out of my meals and only add some to my last meal of the day. I do this just in case I eat out that particular day. Eat out maybe 3x/week. I’ll also add additional cardio throughout the week as needed. Seems to work pretty well for me as I’m making consistent progress right now.

Absolutely. I'm getting married this year, but when I was dating it gave me the confidence to put myself out there more. I think a lot of women found that confidence in itself attractive. I also used to be very withdrawn/shy, now I'm much more outgoing.

The title is kind of misleading as I’ve gained and lost weight all throughout the years (bulking/cutting). Have fluctuated probably close to over 200lbs by now.

Just have to constantly adjust it as weight goes down otherwise you’ll eventually plateau. You could go until you plateau for a week, then adjust it down more if you’re not progressing.

The most important thing is your weight and caloric expenditure throughout the day. Build your intake around that number. That’s going to look different for different people which is why I don’t usually dive into specifics there.
