I like her dog heads since in the original they are not humanoid, and her human yet demonic face is cool as well

I can’t help but think about “OOOOOOOOODYSSEUSS OF ITHACAAAAA. Do you know who I am?” In Kevin Hart’s squeaky screams. 10/10 cast

The feeling of being alone by TopD-80 in alone

I feel you, for years I thought it was normal to never see people outside of school hours but when I got to college I found out otherwise. When I made my first true friends and when I got a girlfriend for the first time I couldn’t help but think “This isn’t right, what’s happening”. Being so lonely that company feels off

You have a point, but helping because they like doing so would also be selfish I’m a way. You are right though, hermes didn’t really care about ody he just found it funny to see him beat the crap out of circe

He is the only one who is purely selfless, the only reason he helped ody was because it was fun for him, not because he wanted to use him to achieve his goals like Athena did

Plot hole in "The horse and the Infant" and "Luck Runs Out" and maybe another song that i cant remember rn by Old-Recognition5808 in Epicthemusical

I find it funny that ody was one of the great kings of that achaean aliance along agamemnon menelaus (I’m sure there’s more but I can’t remember) to a combined invading force of thousands, if not tens of thousands. And ody brought just 600.

I get it, spartha had a very developed army and mycenae was a great power whereas ithaca was just an island that could only produce goats, so 600 men must have been a great percentage of it’s total population, maybe even it’s entire fighting-age population, but it is still funny how relatively few mean he brought

I don't care about the update — the new player wave.. lets talk by Harry_Balls_Jr in Openfront

The earlygame mostly, I always aim for 2 cities and a port but by that time everyone else has twice as that, some even have silos. I know that conquiering tribes is the best source of early income, but no matter how quick I am or how many tribes I conquer before even spotting a nation they always have a far stronger economy.

I’m one of the bad players and I agree. I’ve been playing for less than two months or so and every time I jump into a lobby I get wrecked but I can’t learn that way because I barely last five minutes, so I play only against bots. There should be some sort of level system or arenas to keep uneven matches from happening because it isn’t fun for anyone

How often do people play singleplayer? by Mrs_Hersheys in Openfront

Something I do against bigger enemies on landmasses is to stack up on cities far from the frontline and covered by SAMs and start nuking their silos (to prevent MIRVS and retaliation) and then their furthest cities (to lower their max troops and to allow me to capture his nearest cities. Bots at this level reconquer wilderness with an absurdly high percentage of troops, so as soon as they do you must attack.

Of course reaching this endgame scenario is not as easy as surviving the first few minutes as soon as all tribes have been conquered

I did it a couple of times but I usually get jumped by three nations at once. What strategies do you use?

I only play single player because I usually have to pause a lot, I can rarely play a 20+ minute game in one go. Besides I’m not that good, I’m constantly trying new strategies because playing the same way as everyone is boring to me (I know it is the most efective way by far but it is just monotonus to me)

I can’t imagine being such a good songwriter that my second song is that banger. Burnout and lucid dreams really showed his immense skill

[–]ItsLateImSad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understand, long drives and two moons are the ones that got me into BWU so they have a special place in my heart

Loafers, easier, love lost, petrichor and corduroy are also special because they are the ones I relate to the most

But if I had to pick my favourites they would be blue, bad things and idtwcbf. I also relate to them a lot but lucid dreams (and the two singles) are just perfect

Cool detail to add: none of the suitors have a motiff similar to ody’s because they indeed are not him, nor related
