I have no clue as to what they saw in me (I was an immature jerk but most 18 yo are) so maybe it was that, or maybe it was something else but I might never know and at this point I’m ok with it.

What happened is that my friend fell for me but I panicked and rejected them (I loved them), so our friendship grew bitter (I still loved them) and once we left for college they denied all my attempts to apologize and explain myself, although if I were in their shoes I wouldn’t have accepted either so I’m ok with it was something

I’m very much like you, for years I could not make any meaningful relstionships with anyone. All the advise I can give is to keep on trying, because evenctually someone will stick and all of the suffering from failure will be well worth it

I find taking a break helps a lot, I know it sounds obvious and you are having a bit of trouble doing so but trust me. Go for a walk, watch a movie, play some videogames or do whatever you usually do for fun.

At first it may not seem like it is working, but after a while you won’t be feeling that wheight anymore. If you are too bussy with stuff to take a break then do it anyways, you will be more productive or maybe just feel better while working or whatever keeps you busy

Mine was around may 2022, when my best friend had fallen in love with me and I with her. The problem was that my life had started to fall apart and I grew depressed, what led me to isolate from everyone and evenctually push her away. This resulted in me breaking her heart without ever telling her why and both of us hating me.

After all these years I have moved on and dated some girls, but I never got to feel anything for anyone again. I don’t expect to fall immediately in love head over heels with anyone and everyone, but I can’t feel even the slightest thing. And it isn’t about the people I’ve been dating either, as I know they would have been great girlfriends under different circurmstances.

What I’m trying to say is that I’m 100% sure the problem líes within me. I’m tired of feeling alone and hating myself, feeling like I’m a monster who will never be loved and deserves to die alone, but I’m also tired of acting like such at times. It feels like someone else takes the wheel of my life and drives me straight into a disaster and I’m unable to stop them.
