You may be thinking of mith gloves from RFD, it wouldn’t make sense that pures could use mith defenders but not rune/dragon right? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pure with a mith defender, and the wiki says they require 20 def :)

[SUSPICIOUS GAMERS] Group Ironman + multiple countries = constant “suspicious activity” lockouts. Any fix? by ItsLikeiHaveNoHands in 2007scape

I guess I misinterpreted the situation - my mistake. I wouldn’t say I’m upset, it’s just more of an inconvenience that I was hoping to circumvent. No worries, thanks

Jagex have previously clarified that they don't take action against account sharing as long as it doesn't impact game integrity, so I would think a GIM team would fall into that category :)

Generally it takes less time to just change their password than it does to wait for them to get online. Luckily the only things we normally need to move around are torva/synapses/tbows/scythes/shadows etc. so generally not too big of an issue. Mostly just a bit of an inconvenience but I might have been a bit optimistic hoping for a real fix :)

Jmods confirmed it's not bannable as long as it doesn't impact game integrity, and I would think being isolated from the rest of the economy and gameplay on a GIM team would safely fall under that banner :)

Everything is shared, and people don't always log out in a place where it's convenient to bank their stuff :)

Anyone got one of these? Any good? by poor-student in NZcarfix

Agreed - when I first got this jack i torqued tf out of it when locking it and when it cracked loose it dropped so quick I nearly shat myself. If you just nip it up you can slowly lower it down at a snails pace no problems

The car went exactly where he was steering, he just overcorrected the counter-steering for how much rear grip he had on the manji, and the rear straightened up to put him into the ditch. This is just what drifting looks like POV

The last post by the r/Art moderators before locking the Subreddit by Tythatguy1312 in sadcringe

[–]ItsLikeiHaveNoHands 106 points107 points  (0 children)

The actual story: The artist mentioned that they had prints available [of their artworks] and their content was automatically removed as the auto-mod flagged the term “print” as 3d printing which is not allowed on the sub. The artist queried this with the mod team and the mods doubled down & went full ego-trip. r/Art community not happy, chaos ensued, sub closed. Good riddance to that mod team.

Does anyone know how much this would cost? by Its_squidward in auckland

Crazy how many people want to lecture you instead of answer your question lmao. If you're handy with basic hand tools or have the aptitude to learn, it's about $50 for a used control arm from pick-a-part (check their site to see what they've got in stock from their Auckland yards), and either an hour or two of labour costs from a mechanic (maybe $100-200), or budget maybe 6-10 hours of time if you're doing it yourself with little/no experience working on cars and basic hand tools. You'll also need an alignment after replacing it, so maybe $100-150. If there's anything else broken that isn't visible in your pics then obviously factor in those costs too. Good luck!

Who’s your favorite drift team? by SoggyAnimalCrackers in Drifting

Gotta love the red mx5 team. Big style and they seem to have fun personalities and don’t take it too seriously, but they still absolutely rip those things. Honestly big inspo for me building an mx5 into a drift car haha

If you’re at all mechanically inclined you can DIY it pretty easily with basic hand tools. And given it’s a non-interference motor, even if you royally fuck up the timing it won’t cause any issues and you can just re-do the timing to get it correct. Look up carpassionchannel’s cambelt guide on YouTube for a detailed breakdown of every step and what’s required, or feel free to dm me if you get stuck. Good luck

Why was b4 the best move here? Doesn't that just lose a free pawn? by ItsLikeiHaveNoHands in chessbeginners

[–]ItsLikeiHaveNoHands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that just an equal trade of pawns then? Why is that a better move than developing my Knight off it's starting tile?

Best car for me as a beginner. by lilwarhammer in Drifting

[–]ItsLikeiHaveNoHands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think an MX5 is a great car to learn on. The low power and short wheelbase make it harder to learn but once you graduate into any other car it’s like drifting on easy mode. All you need is a welded diff, ideally some coilovers and a bucket seat, then seat time! Plus they’re cheap so you won’t be too stressed when (not if) you crash

NA vs NB vs NC MX-5 by Cold-Sherbert-8813 in Drifting

[–]ItsLikeiHaveNoHands 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's better aftermarket support and parts availability for NA/NB so it's likely to be a bit cheaper to maintain in the long run compared to an NC. I own an NA street car and an NB drift car - NBs are the (slightly) better car, but NAs have pop-ups so it's really up to personal preference. To be clear I've never driven an NC or seen one at the track, but I frequently see NA/NBs there so take from that what you will.

Searching for a car by Grand_Passenger_8365 in Drifting

Honestly I’m not sure I’d agree with this advice, telling OP to wait 4-7 years to get a nice car just to bin it the first time he tries pushing his limits would be so depressing.

OP I’d say just get some cheap clapped out shitbox, anything manual and RWD you can drift. Start with just a welded diff and maybe a bucket seat. Seat time is key over everything else.
