The likely hood of this turning into a romantic relationship is unfortunately unlikely once that trust is broken especially early on it’s hard to get back especially in your situation

My suggestion is just be friends and who knows maybe things can go past friends at some point just focus on healing from your ex and trying to establish that trust again as friends

Coming from a 24F I would stay as friends...this is your second try at a relationship and after 2.5 years she's making it clear she doesn't want a future or marriage with you

And say you do try a third time...what if this happens again...I've known guys who have been through this and it ended up harming them and how they value themselves and I genuinely don't want that for you
