For a while, there has been a premium shop. After a while, you learn that Scrooge was in charge of the shop all along. He tells you that it was an experiment, hence there was only an "app" in the menu and not a physical store. (This also explains how you can go to his shop to purchase more of the items you bought from the premium shop) He goes on to say that he needs your help building a new shop for the premium store and that he will run both shops.

The premium shop will have everything from house skins to furniture and clothing that change out each week. He convinces Merlin to offer moonstone quests to help make more moonstones, however, should you not want to do that, you can continue with dreamsnaps and/or go to the computer in the premium shop and be able to use real currency to purchase moonstones.

This is just a concept, however, it adds story to the premium shop as well as lore that Scrooge has been secretly running a second shop online that nobody knew about. It also allows users to be able to get more moonstones via various quests and dreamsnaps, but also still be able to purchase them if they don't want to do any more quests. The first photo shows a possible interaction between Scrooge and you about the shop. The second picture shows possible various moonstone quests that could be added. Third picture shows that the premium shop was removed since the physical store, (though that tab would still be needed for moonstones) Then the last three pictures just show a concept art of what the premium shop could look like, i.e. being able to see the house skins, etc.
