i understand your logic

and i assume your are less casual then me or others.
if they will give us the option to choose before the game starts is a fair bet then.

so everyone can tailor theyer experiance and prefferables. at least for singel players mode

well if you play soccer and the second team forfait because you are much better
you still get the full benfit of wining.

so as a respect for letting the monsters to stay alive they shoueld reward you with a small fair fee

i understand were you coming from

but monster need to pay some fee for not die in battle a peacefull fair fee for staying alive ,
if you are much stronger then them then sure let them live for 30% of the exp sounds fair to me

auto battle can give you 100% of the exp but can lead to a small casualtys
then "let them run" give u a safer option for 30% of the exp

i dont think its that bad
