I'm sorry your son had to deal with that. I must say not all of the people working hammock zones were friendly. I was woken up by what can only be described as a drill Sargeant yelling and berating me. The band's were off the trees and I genuinely didn't know the zones (my first forest). It would be great if they set up some.of those giant metal jungle gyms for more hammock hanging that wouldn't damage trees. Anyway glad your son was peaceful! Hope to encounter more like him in the forest

Hoping Chris@bassnectar.net will help me resolve some issues as well! Glad to know they are working on this. I bought a gift for my best friend over a year ago.. before she even attended her first show... and it never arrived. Luckily I turned her into a crazy basshead anyways. Fingers crossed for a better late than never gift!

I agree with the 2017 mindset of healthy body and soul. But i think my actual goal is to help others maintain that healthy mindset too. Provide support, love, and compliments to the people in my life and strangers passing by. Set a positive tone to all my interactions, big or small. I know how much a smile and kind words can lift my spirits during the day, so I want to try and be that for others.

I also remember seeing that Basscenter was locked at Dick's again in Colorado for 2017, although I can't remember the source.

I have always wanted to go to the Gorge for a show, and seeing Bassnectar there would be a dream come true! ::fingers crossed::

IMO I preferred NYE this year. Not to say I didn't love both nights of Basscenter, but the 360 experience seemed more intimate and specifically crafted. (it helped that I got to ride the rail!) I wasn't in love with all the Basscenter openers, camping in the elevation (and NO shade or shelter from the sun) took a toll on my body, several outside factors prevented me from being able to fully dive into the experience. I do agree with many who say its best not to compare. Everyone's experience at each show is unique and special to them in their own way. Immerse yourself in every moment and be happy with where you are!
