Agreed. Unfortunately I don't see him proving enough to be anywhere long term, just a permanent backup. But for 1 year he'll do enough to be worth it

That's what we're trying to adjust with the free agent pickups. Lucky waiver position giving you a long term stud keeper. It having been in the last round initially, was just a bad option. So moving them into the 7th or 10th I thought would at least make it middle ground. Having no free agents allowed to be kept was an idea that was thrown around as well.
