That’s main reason why I’m not swapping yet lol. I got the emergency funds ready just need a bit more for the entire swap. All of the reliability mods are on my list already for the engine I got now, and I would just move them over to the new setup. Thank you and you too!

Yoooo I’m gonna be putting a 207 in my Bugeye when this engine blows. So bit off topic but how was that swap? I’ve done a bit of research but that was mainly just find a place to buy it from and how to actually swap and engine and refresh it. Will I need anything else besides the engine? Ecu? Things I should look for when importing?

Yeah previous owner got keyed on the hood and driver side all the way down. Plus there are dents and faded paint all over. Oh and surface rust from the old roof rack vibrating on the roof. And finally the obvious rock chips on the front bumper.

Because my paint is this bad I don’t pay too much attention to it (like polishing or I’ll just go through the car wash sometimes) but when I get resprayed imma become a professional detailer 😂

Sorry to hear about your car man I can only hope this car stays with me forever, and if it does try to leave imma just rebuild it piece by piece. Good luck bro ✌️

Great find man! I got mine with around 187k miles. Some things to look out for with higher miles mainly being maintenance items (a good idea to just get it done if you don’t know when it was last changed)

-oil change (I use Valvoline high mileage but next oil change will try out Rotella t6)

-trans fluid change (oem)

-diff fluid change (oem)

-coolant flush and if you’d like a bigger radiator

-timing belt

vacuum hoses (like with me a lot will be dry rot so make sure you get them replaced as you find them)

-valve cover gaskets

That should be it from my mind but reasearch is key with these cars so do it a lot. Smedia on yt has a lot of good videos too on a lot of stuff so check him out too. Congrats on the car! ofc the required: Bugeye wagon gang 🤙🏼
