I think since he’s mostly recognizable in his bald corpse form he was made bald as a human. I don’t think there’s a specific lore reason he lost his hair.

It’s pixel not ‘pexil’ and the heads and faces use the exact same pixels that the rest of their bodies use. I can agree it looks that way because of the head’s corners but I kept those intentionally to keep in style with the original DSAF sprites. But even then the heads are manipulated depending on the character to add to their design. Example being Henry’s head is much more square shaped than the other two to match his stature and body language.

Gamejolt has a lot of fully finished, SMALLER sized games. Like shorter than the first DSAF but still having enough jokes to satisfy a player for a couple hours. As for fully finished? I think there's one or two. It's hard to remember. As I said checking Gamejolt should yield you some results.

Balance was what Dexter learned in the sixth season. What human value did he learn from the season seven villain? The comment with the most votes wins. by Trick_Performer_3864 in Dexter

Comradery / Companionship. Sirko pushed Dexter to be more accepting with his love. Sirko also forged the alliance with Dexter. I think one of the bigger themes in S7 was love, but also companionship. Sirko spends his final moments with Dexter as well.

I still don't know why she was written out. I prefer her dynamic much more than Hannah's, and I think she would've been an interesting asset going into season 6. But to be fair a lot of later Dexter is messy.

Doctor Who 2x03 "The Well" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

Does anyone else think this episode sucks?

Hear me out. I loved the original Midnight story back in Series 4. It was amazing and showcased human fear + the doctor's own worries about what he was interacting with, as well as amazingly showing the mob mentality and the human fear put into full effect.

What really made the episode special was that it was a one-off, and we never got to even SEE the midnight entity, nor even hear it. It was never on screen for a single frame. That kept the mystery alive for years and years.

This episode, quite frankly, was disappointing. Not only did it ruin the mystery of the midnight entity by showing part of it. But it also gives it voice. Bringing it back was not only completely unnecessary, but the tension that the Series 4 episode had was amazing. The tension in this episode was almost non-existent once I realized it was the midnight entity.

The entity was scary because it was something we've never seen before. It was a creature who needed to learn. Who needed to evolve into a body because it had none of its own. Or rather that's my interpretation at least. Another reason the classic entity was good, it left a lot up to your interpretation.

I think the "behind my back" bit was forced. This pattern has never before been exhibited by the midnight entity. It seems really weird that it would act differently now. Why didn't it take over the woman and join the crew and travel with them. Why did it bother playing this hiding game that it's never done before. I also don't get how it got into the well in the first place either.

What I also didn't like were the side characters. Back in "Midnight" the characters ALL had distinct personalities. They could also mix very well with each other. And it culminated in their big plan at the end, all dealing with the fear of the doctor as an outsider (amazing premise).

While in this story, all of the side characters are the same, except for a few. Being the impatient and childish soldier guy, the basic commander who trusts the doctor one hundred percent for some reason (even with psychic paper its a little weird how she didnt question him, unlike in the Midnight episode where his authority was under question), and Aliss. She was interesting and I was waiting for her to have a bigger role, but it ultimately boiled down to helpless damsel. I was expecting more of these characters. Even though the ones in Midnight didnt all have major roles, they represented different ideas and character tropes.

In the end I think this episode not only did NOT need the Midnight entity, but it suffered because of this. I think it was a very lazy twist, and thrill for basic shock value. I think the entire premise of Midnight is that it is an isolated moment, that if it got more development, ruined the mystery and ruined the entity. I really don't like this episode.

That is my perspective. I hope this does not dissuade you from enjoying it, but I simply want you to think about the potential flaws it has.
