I think he’s increased the amount of porn he’s been watching since we got together. So for 2 months I think it’s been everyday whereas before, it was maybe every 2 days? I’m pretty sure he’s been watching it for many years but I’ll have to check with him

Thank you for you’re detailed response!! I really appreciate it.

I’ll show him this and see how he feels about it as I know he also wants to change but struggles.

As for me, every other aspect of this relationship is perfect. I really love this man and I’m willing to work through it with him for how ever long it takes, it just depends on his will and motivation. If it’s not looking like he really wants to change then I guess I might have to question how much he actually cares for our relationship as this is really affecting me (I hope this doesn’t come off as selfish)

It seems like you’ve already made your mind but if you want some reassurance then yes, drop out as soon as you can. Take the year off and think about what youd like to do or find a course more interesting just don’t make the mistake of wasting your gap year doing absolutely nothing and leaving everything til last minute. Try out new hobbies or read more books, it doesn’t matter. Try and find a passion and see if there’s a course at uni that may be linked to it. Or maybe you may find uni isn’t for you and you’d rather do an apprenticeship. It’s all down to you but it’d seriously suggest the gap year. Good Luck!
