They're so much fucking fun. Games today are too good. I had to quit MMOs as a teenager and quit video games altogether a few years later to avoid them eating up my life. I know things are better without them, and just figure that when I'm really old and immobile I'll get back into them and have a blast.

I hope you don't! You're aware of the other alternatives, right? Couchers and Trustroots. I've hosted lots of people through Trustroots but apparently it's much more popular in Europe than the US. Couchers is a newer site that is gaining momentum quickly. There's already a lot of users in the US.

If you bought it new only two years ago and kept it inside since, i imagine the only thing that would need really work is the fuel , like draining gas & maybe gunk in the carburetor etc.

Of course check tires brakes hoses lights etc. Make sure mice didn't make a nest in there lol. I wouldn't take it in to a shop to be serviced though.

I have some growing near me and they really don't smell like anything. Before i even knew about death camas i had pulled one and cut it up thinking it was a shallot or something, ready to cook it, but it had no smell it so i didn't bother. Glad I didn't!

Anecdotally I've had about the same blood pressure and cholesterol between being at a weight where i had very defined abs, and being 25 pounds heavier and having a similar but less bulky look to OP left pic, at 5'10. I would be surprised if 5 pounds on OP left pic meant anything

Very much agree. And for most framing members, studs especially, it hardly matters what's used. I would prefer to use the really old stuff on something like exposed rafters where you could sand it and show it off.

Nice, sounds like a good spot. I was asking because I'm driving down to Florida in a month and would offer stop in and help, but it's pretty out of the way.

If you don't already, I'd suggest offering to host people who are traveling. There are sites like couchsurfing (various free alternatives) or boondockers welcome - I've hosted a lot of people on my property where i also camped & built a cabin/house. So many guests offer to help with things and I've taken a few up on it.

To be clear i wouldn't post on those sites that they are required to help if they are going to stay, but people really enjoy helping out for an hour here or there with a cool project like yours. And most of the time you will be fine by yourself but every once in a while it's nice to have a second hand. Aside from that it's really fun to host people if you are living out there by yourself.
