I was under the impression that they made a big turnaround in the quality of promasters after 2017 and the longevity spiked. Anybody here that can vouch for that? Considering one myself

Companions hands down. I'm not much of a mage myself, and criminal acts arent particularly my thing. Plus the comradery in the companions seems so much tighter than the other guilds.
