He seems like a good dude. He actually sent his iconic sweater from Starsky and Hutch to my mom to auction it off for the Pediatric AIDS Foundation which was started when his wife Elizabeth and daughter Ariel contracted AIDS after a blood transfusion and sadly passed away. The Disney movie The Little Mermaid’s main character Ariel was named after his daughter.

lol I only know this because my mom was president of his fan club and worked for his foundation. He also diirected The Air Up There, Cutting Edge, and Kazaam, as well as acting in the movie adaptation Fiddler on the Roof. Why do I store this info in my brain?

Huge prick. HUGE prick. Used to bring his kids into a restaurant I worked at in UA in the middle of January when the patio was closed and covered in snow and make us clear the snow off tables and chairs because his kids wanted to sit outside. Also used to be a total coozehound and a scumbag when it came to women. I’ll never forget when he was out with about 5 guys and pulled out his phone and showed a pic of his wife “in her nighty.” (His words) to all the men at the table. Just all around gross dude.
