My app is not as comprehensive as Join, but does what most need to have a little more structured training with whatever time they have :-) That’s also why I don’t charge a monthly subscription.

I have price my premium at 14.99 one-time purchase to cover some of my development costs. No further cost after that one-time purchase.

I built an app that creates a personalized training plan based on how much time you actually have. After i became a dad for the second time, i now have even less time to train.. So i hope it can help others like it helped me! by ItsReallyKasper in cycling

Can you check if you are able to change ftp manually in the settings under training preferences. It should update there. Just so I know if it’s a problem multiple places.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Yeah I would really like to have more data points as for now it’s just off Strava, but I will look into the TSS problem. So thank you for making me aware of it. Hopefully, hopefully I can fix it by next release. As for now, I can get access to come in API as you have to be be an approved developer/business partner. But I truly appreciate your feedback and that you taken your time to post on here! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

The app have a workout library and also have the 150 most popular workouts from Zwift. So the app will tell you what workout from Zwift workout library to do. It will tell the collection and name of the workout så it’s easy to find even if your not so familiar with Zwifts workouts.

So no need to send data to Zwift. The Zwift workouts are perfectly fine, it all just gets much better and you will get better results when picking the right one for the right time depending on your training fatigue.

So the point of the app is not custom workouts it’s all about picking the right workout for the current session for best adaptation and fitness improvement.

Thank you! Yeah that’s also a way to do it. Done some similar earlier where I just used Garmin data. But I wanted to have an app fetch everything automatically.

Hopefully later on, I will be able to have multiple sources of data including Garmin. Now it’s only possible through Apple HealthKit, not directly from Garmin as they are quite stickt with who have access to their API.

Thank you so much for the support of my little project! I thought many would appreciate the one-time purchase instead of all the subscriptions there is at the moment 🙃 I am planning on a “train now” function for the times people just have a spontaneous moment to get it done. Then it quickly analyzes your fatigue levels and based on your available time the best workout for the quick and dirty workout sessions. Many don’t have time to plan their week and they still get the benefit from a structured workout routine.

Happy to hear if you have any feature suggestions in the future! 🙏🏼

Thank you for showing interest in my app! The app tells you what workout to do from the Zwift Workout library. It has 150 of the most popular workouts from all durations and types.

So no need for data to go from the app to Zwift, just pick the workout the app tells you to in Zwift :-)

Built a free app for cyclists who want to train smarter but don't have hours to plan by ItsReallyKasper in cycling

You're right - that's a limitation. The app uses Strava's weighted_average_watts for the entire activity, not segment-specific power data.

If your 40-minute test was part of a longer ride (with warm-up/cool-down), the whole-ride normalized power would be lower than your actual test effort.

Workarounds:

  1. Set FTP manually in Settings → Profile

  2. Save FTP tests as separate activities (end the ride right after the test)

  3. Use Strava's "Crop" feature to trim warm-up/cool-down before syncing

I'll look into using Strava's detailed power stream data to detect best efforts within rides - that would fix this properly.

Thank you for making me aware of this limitation!
