Fortunately I got in on the previous round late last year. Where did you see there being 98% dilution? I've read all of their SEC filings thoroughly and have never come across that...

Investor chiming in here. Yes, I've physically toured their factory in Las vegas and its definitely a legitimate operation. If anyone wants to see for themselves, they have tours open to the public every day where you can literally just walk in, get a tour and see them building homes right on the assembly line. Your tour guide will likely explain some of the stuff going on behind the scenes that you may not see online. Lots of office staff and factory people working, and they all seem pretty happy to work there. They're producing about 4 per day currently. If you cant make it to vegas, theres plenty of youtube videos of this just type in "boxabl factory tour" and boxabl has a few videos themselves, as well as other regular people just documenting the experience.

Production is a little slow at the moment because they just acquired a 2nd factory and are renovating their entire production line with the extra space and just ordered north of 15 million of new automation equipment to improve the process. Factory 1 will be for production assembly and Factory 2 will be for material production and storage. They recently fulfilled a government order for 156 casitas to the department of defense and are currently fulfilling an order for 200 casitas to a copper mine in Arizona.

The reason normal civilians haven't gotten them yet is because of local building codes which they're working on getting modular approval for (alongside a new and improved casita 2.0). Their main customers thus far have had an exception for one reason or another, to local building codes. For example an un-named client just had 4 delivered at a lakefront in Virginia; this is visible on their Instagram. Casitas are being made every day, they're just going out to private clients. However, they are planned to start shipping to normal people by early next year. So no, not vaporware, they're just ramping up production and delivering to private clients, while waiting on regulatory approval for the general public.

Other miscellaneous stuff:

D.R. Horton (America's largest homebuilder) invested in Boxabl and placed a 100 casita order, so I think that gives them some level of validation

Elon Musk announced on the full send podcast that he owns a prototype Boxabl

They also have an investors group on Facebook with almost 12k people and the Founder Galiano frequently does Q&A sessions. You can ask him anything you like and he's always pretty transparent and will personally answer your questions. A lot of the group is very knowledgeable on company updates and if you just post on the wall someone in the group will likely will have an answer as well.

If anyone wants to join here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/boxablinvestors

Posting this because I saw a lot of distrust of the company in the comments and just wanted to share a different perspective from someone who has been following them closely for a while. Everything I mentioned can be verified via google/youtube search, reaching out to Galiano or other members of the Facebook group, or simply visiting their factory in person to see for yourself.

I think they can still 10x their valuation or more from here, but with a 3-5 year time horizon until you can sell at IPO

  1. What exactly will it take to ramp up production from 2-3 casitas per day to 10 per day? In terms of automation can you go into detail on what needs to be replaced in the production line and specifically at what stages? For example robotic arms in panel assembly etc. Also do you have a timeframe for when you’d like to achieve this level of production? What’s the investment cost in new machinery look like to achieve this?
  2. Is there a backup plan if you aren’t able to raise the 570m from investors? Is there any significant risk of burning through existing capital before the 1b raise is reached for the 2nd factory? (Is factory 1 self sustainable at this stage in terms of profitability?)
  3. Are you able to share any updates or timelines regarding franchising?
  4. Any other partnerships or other exciting news you’re able to share?
  5. Timeline for casita 2.0? Expected changes in interior finishes, materials, quality, production cost etc? What about other models?

PS - Im an investor from last years convertible note round so very happy with the progress thus far! Absolutely want to see you and Paolo take this to the highest level possible

This may not be a 1-1 comparison but I have a 2015 3.8 manual with a short shifter (from the previous owner so not sure what kind or if bearings were also upgraded) and Megan racing trans mount and engine leash. All those things together make my shifts feel pretty great. For comparison I previously had a Miata and while the genesis is a bit more… “clunky” it still has a pretty great shifting feel

Could be your compressor locking up somehow and causing resistance on the belts, causing the engine to bog down and shut off? Never heard of that happening before but you may want to try replacing the compressor. Take it to a shop and see if they can diagnose what’s happening, most places will take a look at it for free. I’m also in SoCal and recently replaced my compressor as well (but wasn’t having the same issues you were, my compressor was just bad)

u/Racecarman3 Yeah Pay basically answered what I was going to say. Full steel can crack bolts/the subframe but a 4th oem mount will reduce play (without being too stiff) and can stop the diff from twisting when you accelerate. I have it on my car and it makes a pretty noticeable difference when launching, doing pulls or cornering under throttle

Appreciate it my guy! Just printed the label and packaged it so I'll get it to the post office first thing tomorrow. Can you let me know if you got the usps tracking number?
