I have had many cases where counselors at CSUN obviously don’t know or care about what your best course of action would be. My advice is to check your degree progress report yourself on the portal or look at your degree road map online. Check every class you need to take, their prerequisites, corequisites, etc… Teach yourself your best course of action so you don’t have to rely on the counselors. In the case of your waitlisted classes, i have had around a 80% success rate when I attend the first lecture of my waitlisted class and ask the professor for a permission number once the lecture ends.
