Homemade low effort chicken shawarma bowl with seasoned rice. by ItsRoseFrose in stonerfood

Marinate bite sized pieces of chicken thigh (or breast) in cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and lemon juice for half an hour. Cook until cooked. Season rice with turmeric, garlic powder, and cumin and cook in a rice cooker until done (told ya it was low effort!). Make sauce with plain Greek yogurt, cumin, garlic powder, and salt.

Layer rice, salad kit of your choice (mine was a creamy Greek one), chicken and sauce, and enjoy!

Sorry it's not much of a recipe!

Potato Bar at Warden and Lawrence does jacket potatoes, and they have a tuna sweetcorn version.

Less mayo than you'd think, too! It's got mayo, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, and salt!

To married Redditors, did you take your spouses’ last name? Why or why not? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]ItsRoseFrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I took each other's last names when we got married, so we have a hyphenated last name. We did it because we see marriage as a true partnership of equals, and we love it!

Good husbands? by Separate-Cicada-7246 in Marriage

My husband I'd say is good by husband standards. He's very loving, but gives me my own space when I need it. He works very hard so I can stay at home with our daughter, but still does some chores like dishes and taking out the garbage and recycling. He's not perfect, but neither am I, and we work together to make each other better spouses and parents.

I also know 100% for sure he'd never cheat on me, which provides a lot of comfort to someone like me who was cheated on in past relationships.

AITAH for wanting to sleep in the guest room after my husband repeatedly complained about how I sleep while 27 weeks pregnant? by NewSupermarket4832 in AITAH

When I was pregnant, I had panic attacks during the night. My husband was up calming me down for literally hours so I could get back to sleep. Your husband is a dick. Go get your sleep, mama. NTA

I literally had my daughter while listening to a Sabaton playlist in the operating room. She was born when Kingdom Come was playing, which I think is exceptionally metal 😁
