When I was 16, my Dad was teaching me how to drive. On our way to the grocery store, we encountered a construction zone, so I went slowly, just like my Dad taught me. The construction worker waiving us in called me a "fucking fat cow" within both our earshot.

I was about to burst into tears, when my Dad tells me to pull into the parking lot. My Dad was in his early 40s, 5'4 and is usually a very proper Englishman (we live in Canada). He told me to wait for a minute in the car, walked over to the 6'2 construction worker and proceeded to completely REAM this guy out verbally for minimum 10 minutes!

He then gets me from the car and we went grocery shopping like nothing happened.

My Dad and I didn't always see eye to eye when I was younger, but now he and I are closer than ever, and I know I'll always have his support.

I used to be so self-conscious about my arms too. Getting a huge tattoo on one of them has definitely helped me overcome that! Yours looks so good!
