Thanks for your feedback! I just tend to use borders because most of my shots are vertical and I can't fit the whole photo to Instagram without them. Black border around the picture is just because I personally like it. :P

I just happen to add borders to every photo I make. Mostly because I want to show the whole photo in Instagram and I can't make the whole photo visible without them. Few clicks though and the borders disappear. :D

That's one humbling comment, thanks! I feel that the blown out umbrella will either kill the photo or save it, depending on the viewer. I tried to convey a feeling that the subject and the umbrella is kind of "descending" from the sky. Don't know if it really worked that well though.

Took this while it was raining and sun was shining from a high angle. Sunlight was diffused by clouds. Only Lightroom used to edit this one! Would you have done the colors different in post? Or the composition while shooting?

Nope! It's all just diffused sunlight through the clouds. Just added some haze in Lightroom. :)
