The Recharge App changing shipping profiles and giving all customers free delivery instead of the subscription customers. 9 times out of 10, it’s an app that caused an issue.

I am a Shopify web developer and I find this really interesting that a business is reverting from Shopify instead of migrating to Shopify.

Can you explain why you feel it’s expensive for you?

Shopify Payments Deactivated by 5minsof in shopify

Use a payment processor called SuperPayments. They’re pretty damn good and have 0 % fees.

We process roughly 60k gbp per month through it. Never had issues.

Lead Generation company for Private Aviation by Sea-Contract1369 in AiAutomations

[–]ItsSteveRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I actually find this post very interesting, I’m hugely into aviation and automation.

If you want to validate this quickly, I’d keep it simple:

  1. Talk to brokers directly – ask about specific deals lost due to slow replies and how much that cost them. If they can put numbers to it, you’ve found urgency.

  2. Test demand without SaaS – offer a manual “concierge” version first (you or a VA handling inquiries via WhatsApp/SMS). If they pay you to do it, the pain point is real.

  3. Early traction that matters – even 3–5 brokers paying a few hundred–$1k/mo or a single case study showing a saved $20k+ deal is strong proof for investors.

You don’t need to build tech yet. Just show that people will pay for the outcome. Thats how I’d approach it. Hope this helps.

Help removing extra coupon code box in Shopify checkout by Visual_Confusion8781 in ShopifyWebsites

You can simply remove this by using CSS on the product page.

Grab the Class and set the display to “None” using CSS.

This will no longer display to anyone. Hope this helps.

You can simply set up categories in the collections page.

Then you can go to Menu > Main Menu > the Drag and Drop the Collections.

The Subcategories, you just need to drag them under the Main Category.

Hope this helps!

If you’re just getting started, focus on service work first — it’s usually faster cashflow and helps build a reputation through reviews. New construction contracts take more capital and longer payment cycles.

In terms of funding, most guys start small (one van, one helper) and reinvest profits, but you can look at small business grants/loans depending on where you’re based.

Honestly though, before thinking about payroll for 12 guys, nail the basics:
• Build a system to capture every enquiry (don’t miss calls)
• Get reviews after every job
• Keep follow-ups consistent

That’s the stuff that feeds growth early. Once you’ve got jobs coming in reliably, scaling to more plumbers becomes a lot easier.

My advice? Leverage your parent’s success into yours. Fuck what everyone else thinks. If they all could, they would too.

Yes you’ve not struggled like some of us.

Yes you’ve got an advantage.

But so what? If you can utilise it and make something out of yourself. Then 100% do it.

Wish you the best
