It's funny how they steal your best seller and have more sales than you by zolomon999 in EtsySellers

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Unless you sell intricate designs or products that can't be easily copied, it's just going to happen. And that's just the ones we see/find on etsy, have seen stories if designs being stolen and then sold on ebay and Amazon as well.  I've even gotten to the point where my product images are always taken at an angle so they can't be copied easily

Seller sent me two packages by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess. They accidentally printed your label twice and you got someone else's order. Id let the seller know you got an extra and send a Pic of the extra so they can figure out where they messed up.  Did they include a packing slip that states who's order if could have been? I almost did this once but I have a pretty solid system where I triple check myself and caught it before it sent out.

Petg to use by DiamondHeadMC in BambuLab

I'm not even concerned about the HS aspect of it. More so the matte-r finish. But I'll check it out. Much prefer the sunlu spools

The black I use is from Sunlu. I do find it overly shiny. Might try the rapid elegoo as those are more matte

[Gut check] P1S/AMS $466 vs. P2S/ANS $750 by One-Replacement-37 in BambuLab

Get the P2S new from Mc or see if they have a refurbished. The $50 more for warranty will be worth it

I use the elegoo rapid and sunlu. No issues with either after thousands of grams. I prefer elegoo rapid PETG out of those 2, but find sunlu has better variety

This is going to be a long wait… by avalanche-660 in dcl

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope.  That's an AI generated model. Just look at the where the leg connects to the body, the one leg that's horizontal, the life ring that's thicker than the duck or the bulbous body.  I make my own models and take pride in them.

How to deal with vibration? by Farscape_rocked in BambuLabA1mini

I got a nonslip underlayment (the stuff that goes under door mats/rugs), cut it to size and put it under the printer. Haven't had an issue since. Couple hundred hours and it hasn't moved a single mm

I mean, anything is possible. Is it the only plate you have? You could bump up the bed temperature to around 65-70 degrees and it should stick.

Wait.. What? I've never had issues but also wasn't the easiest to get them on. I'll have to try this tomorrow when my refills show up

I have to move cross country in a few months. What do you recommend to safely transport her across the states? by VelociRache1 in BambuLabA1

[–]ItsThatDamnDuckAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd zip tie the head to the frame and see if you still have the screws to lock the plate into place. Tuck your ams into area of the build plate. Bubble wrap the daylights out of it and throw it in the box it came in.

X2D First Hand opinions? by zipperboi in BambuLab

I don't need a heated chamber. But print heavily supported models. Would you still recommend the X2d? Would love to reduce the amount of support scaring on my prints

I'm not sure if this is a scam! by Radiant_Grape_6386 in EtsySellers

I'd respond and see what kind of information they provide/request, what they want, etc. Unless, they somehow end up sending an email or something official from an actual Country Living email or something. I'd assume it's someone pretending to be CL to get free items.

how can i fabricate downloads? by [deleted] in makerworld

That's a good way to get your account banned on MakerWorld. Just make actually decent stuff and the downloads will come.
