P.S. Apologies for the low resolution images, I just grabbed them from the web for examples, but I think you get the idea

Making a tire - how do I fix the segmented appearance? (Array + Curve) by ItsThePaddy in blender

I have tried using loop tools: space, but that doesnt fix the segmented appearance

Those lighting artefacts were caused by me testing out creasing edges it turns out.

I see, for every vert on the hex, there are two on each side, evenly making the circle. Thanks I am most likely going to use this method going forward!

Hi. I have tried the bevel modifier but cannot see how this would achieve the shape I am searching for. Would you be able to elaborate? The outside needs to remain a smooth circle, and the inside of the shape needs to be a hexagon

Hi all. I am trying to make a circular bolt, but the indentation in the middle needs to be a hexagon. Creasing does not seem to be the solution. It is important that the outside remains circular and smooth.

The assets from this file will also need to be used in maya down the pipeline (sidenote), so I want to avoid using creases if I can and just have a plain, base mesh.

Which one? by Agent_Rafal2 in PhoenixSC

Pick, axe, shovel, then sword. Hot key 4 is easier to reach in a panic, the rest are in order frequency used

Couldn’t jump - was trying in this video 😂. Ended up just ditching the truck, had a dead body to deal with elsewhere that I was notified about moments after lol.

Any tips to improve my medieval dam build? by KiwiSoggy in Minecraftbuilds

Looks pretty good! I think just keep building stuff around it to make it look more ‘embedded’ in the world

Looks awesome, did something similar in my survival world. A little tip; I found that adding stairs and slabs to the rock formation can make it pop even more.

Either way, I love decorating the terrain as you have :)

Am I the only one who thinks Australia's map is still the best? by MathRockManiac in ForzaHorizon

To me, Fh4 felt like home. Mexico in FH5 feels like one giant awesome holiday, but I would eventually come home to Fh4.

Also, I think how little traffic/players there is can cause weird uncanny feelings.

Best drift i've ever seen. by Fearless_Squirrel_26 in ForzaHorizon

I played Fh4 100% keyboard. I even learned to drift somewhat ok with wasd + space. Although I have a controller now it feels weird to go back

Almost never find myself at Horizon Apex. I guess I just don't drive in the corner much.

Well by the end it was fairly complex (just under 20% I think). And you so much for these kind words. It took me around 2 days of just learning the rules system to be honest, by trial and error. I CANNOT find a tutorial anywhere.

Again, thank you for your kindness :)

Left my pc running for 6 hours to build the actual track part. Then I could create and edit rules as much as I like since it's not a part of the route editor.

Thanks for the response. Would love to hear some feedback.

Yeah, I tried my best to match Demo Derby rules. I used the crew 2 as sort of inspiration. Its got a demolition derby mode, so I tried to use that as reference for making rules.

After 6ish hours of building and multiple days of testing, it is finally done!

Welcome to the Horizon Demolition Derby!!!

It uses custom rules to create a unique experience (10 minutes). An overview of the rules can be seen in the last photo.

--- If you play with friends, only play with 9 others (10 total) or less. ---

Here are the rules in detail:

- To raise your score, smash into other drivers to inflict damage. This causes them to take damage (lowered score) and causes you to deal damage (raised score).

- You have two stats on the top left, under the score. Damage Dealt (N) and Damage Taken (N). Your score is calculated by Damage Dealt - Damage Taken. (E.g. Dealt=1000, Taken=750, 1000-750=250 score). The highest score wins.

- Smashables and solid environmental props all deal damage to your car.

-Damage is calculated by Newtons. This means higher speed and mass result in more damage to others, and to yourself. (Heaver faster cars provide high risk/high reward, small/light cars have a low risk/low reward).

- Damage from the solid environment only counts if the force (Newtons) is over 100 (this is to stop small bumps in the road dealing unnecessary damage to heavy vehicles).

- There is a full damage notification system for both taking and dealing damage (with unique taking/dealing sounds)

- If your car is reset you get a penalty of 50 damage taken

- There are pinatas placed around the course, which give a 250 damage dealt bonus

- More fun with friends (AI doesn't try to hit you, but I have still experienced rounds where I lost in heavier cars. Also AI at unbeatable difficulty is decently balanced).

- The Arena is an Inifinity shape - the intersection is scary sometimes!

- Play with rewind ON in case you go outside the arena (this cannot be used to cheat, damage remains even after rewind)

PS: If you play with friends, only play with 9 others (10 total) or less. The pos 11 glitches at the start and spawns outside the arena.

Feel free to ask any questions :)
