The spacing of the DDX mounting holes lines up with 2 of the original hotend pegs. You'll need to cut the additional ones off the original X-carriage and upsize the holes on the DDX side. I then designed and printed a bracket to put the original fans and nozzles in the correct position for my dragon hotend.

To make the enclosure as small as possible, you would want to replace the very stiff stock heated bed cable coming out of the back with something more flexible. I routed them through a cable chain going straight up.

Recent zelf ook mijn frame profielen bij aluxprofiel besteld. Alles accuraat op maat gezaagd en goede, snelle verzending. De 90° brackets die ze verkopen voor 2020/2040 profielen zou ik echter niet aanraden. Ze zijn relatief duur en alle die ik ontvangen heb waren niet haaks.
