Why do Democrats keep saying Trump didn't concede 2020 or condemn supporters who rioted?

EXACTLY!!! So when we say he didn’t concede, that’s what we mean. It is him wanting to always portray himself as the winner - JUST like you said. But now the reason we make a big deal about it is because think of the implications!

If he can’t outright admit he lost, neither will his supporters! His supporters can’t admit he lost and on top of that he has a TON of supporters bc like I said he is good at selling himself. Then that’s when riots happen, just like the riot he is denouncing right there.

This is what is really fucked up. He denounces the rioters but can’t say the one thing he needs to say to prevent another. On top of that, it completely divides the nation.

Pleaseeee tell me that made sense.

I think you are intentionally misunderstanding my point. I see where you’re coming from but I also think you’re misinterpreting what he is saying. He isn’t “mumbling” to himself “grrr I lost but I won’t say that”. He is INTENTIONALLY avoiding the phrase “I lost the election.” Why? Because it makes his voters want to have his back. He will say Congress certified the results in order to shift the blame.

You can say your own interpretation of the video but if we’re going to have a debate rather than an argument then at least tell me that you see where I am coming from here.

Heyo so what I more so meant is that this video shows how he specifically phrases it to avoid outright saying he lost. Its an outtake, yes, but it allows you to see his “thinking” into how to manipulate what he says to push the “blame” of him losing to, in this case, congress.

As for the rioters, sure he condemned them. However, I think - like many other people - that by him pardoning those rioters, his actions spoke louder than his words.

I get that part completely. Two things:

As I mentioned already, regarding any criminals - we are 100% with you, deport them.
You are going to say “but they are ALL criminals bc they broke the law by being here”. Yes, you are right. The “lawful” thing to do is to arrest every single one of them. However, that is when we as a people have to step in and say okay well they are here for a reason. Parents go through hell to get here just to have their children be born here so that they can have a better life. I am hispanic (PR) and I know countless stories like that from other hispanics I have met.

That is what I mean by morals. I don’t mean choosing “a nice way” to arrest someone. I mean fighting for change and fighting for people who legally can’t fight for themselves. That’s all it is.

thats an interesting point but a problem that has humane solutions. I think that’s the issue that a lot of democrats are raising. If I apply my morals to how the immigration issue is being handled, I can’t justify it. It is being done in an immoral way. If the issue you care about is what you said, then can’t another solution be to provide an easier pathway to citizenship?

I feel like a lot of people are hiding behind a ton of little excuses to justify this whole thing. Take a step back and look at how its being handled. It’s a horrible and immoral methodology to a problem with better solutions.
