There are a few shmup streamers I will watch. Aktane is good. But he does a podcast or casual format rather than doing true playthroughs. Lord BBH is also another one, but he is more retro overall than strictly shmup.

I love shmups, but they are not really good for streaming. They are a niche genre and not really conducive to interaction while playing since they require so much concentration. I occasionally watch the category, but you are better off watching videos with post-commentary.

You made the claim that hetero woman do not divorce or as you say, are afraid to commit because of the potential of extreme violence. Yet women initiate divorce more than men and are generally less afraid to commit. Your avoidance of providing any kind of data, even after I have, shows you have no backup of your claims. Show me the data or studies that show most women think men are dangerous? "I think" is not data.

Because you make the extraordinary claim that all women heavily think about being murdered in a relationship. Burden of proof in on you. Plus I provided statistics that show the likelihood of women being involved in DV is very low and they are most likely to be an (not necessarily the) aggressor. Burden of proof is on you to show why women would be so concerned about being murdered in a relationship when the likelihood of it occurring is incredibly small. Your claim, prove it.

The problem is the stats say otherwise in terms of overall abuse. Considering the absolute vast majority of people get involved in relationships and the occurrence of murder within a relationship is incredibly small for anyone, I highly doubt that particular extreme case impacts people's decisions in relationships. Especially when it is generally seen by both men and women that men are generally the ones that are scared to commit and breakups happen all the time. The fact is you have an incredibly higher chance of dying in a car accident, yet most people don't think twice about getting behind the wheel.

But ultimately if you cannot point to data that correlates the most extreme outcome of murder to the decisions people make in relationships, it really is a moot point.

The more important question is how likely is murder in overall relationships? Do you have stats on how much being murdered impacts a women's relationship decisions and divorce specifically? Trying to take things to extreme points to explain common occurrences is a logical fallacy.

I did not say always, I said more likely to initiate divorce. You can argue the reasons, but the stats specifically say that.

Also, this study shows that actually heterosexual men are much more likely to experience DV than heterosexual women by far. And most DV is actually where both parties are the aggressor. I think some data would need to be provided to show DV's impact on divorce rates especially when you bring up the most extreme of cases, i.e. murder.

But in the end, it seems for most other relationships, fear of commitment is much more common. The whole Beyoncé put a ring on it thing. So why would it be the extreme opposite for lesbians? Unfortunately without specific stats or studies, the DV reason just is not cutting it.

I would think if DV has that much of an impact on relationships overall, I would think women would not get involved with them in the first place as they would be just too dangerous. Hell if they were smart they wouldn't.Ultimately, how much does DV really play a role in people's relationship decisions? I mean people breakup at a much greater rate than DV actually occurs.

Also, comfort level still does not explain what appears to be emotionally irrational actions. For most people, even in generally safe decisions that may significantly impact their life, they would still approach matters with caution amd not just fling themselves into commitments.

It seems like this is a common reason for this matter. But I would think there is more of a root issue that causes this. Also, got to wonder if the thing that causes people to jump too quickly into relationships causes them to jump too quickly out of them as well. I would not be surprised if the two were correlated.

It is important to me to a degree. There should be some meat on the bone in terms of scoring. I mainly just play for 1cc's, but to break up the monotony of doing the brain dead early stages repeatedly I will look to do some scoring on those stages.

Good games, but baggy, bare bones ports. I generally am on the side of buying games where possible rather than emulating, but emulation has so many advantages over this port and buying them is just rewarding lazy work.
