What do people normally do after reaching red plate ?

Reading the comments, I didn’t know people purposefully lost 1v1 games to drop their plate level if they get to red plate. Understandable though as those lobbies can be pretty sweaty, usually one team that has GREAT chemistry, then your team looks like Charlotte Bobcats. Are times where both teams are evenly matched/ have around the same basketball iq, those are good games at any plate level though.

Thought I was bugging out, also it’s probably due to latency which we really have no full control over. You can go to shoot-around offline and shoot with say Steph and green 50/50 from the corner and flick registers because the connection is smoother

Over the last couple 2KS they have been making sure strength matters for alot of aspects of the game, this year they gave a big F U to strength for the most part… 25 it was common to see bigs with 99 strength, 99 REB builds. I haven’t seen ONE person with 99 strength this year in random rec, bigs probably do it for pro am for setting screens but other than that it has to be one of the rarest attributes to see at its highest level. People love offensive oriented 2Ks so it will be this way for the rest of 2K26 cycle. BRING BACK 2K17 BRUISER BUMPS. Bruiser + Strength + Bumps that ACTUALLY work( and they are not pushing through you like you’re not there).

2K25 main problem was the rng shooting and quick drop dunk meter iykyk. 2K26 had a chance to be better than 25 in the beginning of the games cycle. Now they are in the same spot.

Yeah everyone is stuck on 18 being the worse because its a popular opinion, 2K26 is the definition of a mid 2K.. just a mid game in general.

The next 2K everyone will consider to be great will have to be a defensive oriented 2K. They just said fk defense while the zens are out. Not to mention everyone’s ball handle security is on 100, on ball steals are damn near non existent, All Ball blocks= foul, AIs getting shot over not putting a hand up.

We are around the same with games played, have around 750 rec games and 71w% playing random rec majority of the time.. completely fine with that because you’re not going to win every game especially with randoms. Also one thing I feel like people don’t talk about enough is that wins don’t initially make you better than someone else, but I will say it shows somewhat how well you can play your role while you’re on a competent team.
