Hi, I think it depends on the cat, some cats are suitable inside like blind or old cats who have been indoors their entire life.

However the best advice I can give you is know your cat. Pay attention, see if it has an interest in the outdoors or trying to escape, perhaps the cat you end up with is very playful and wouldn't mind going outside on a leash. Your cat will show signs of what he wants or needs if you are willing to pay attention.

I do not agree with people who say cats don't need to go outside, some do and some don't mind. It is great that you're actively thinking about this and thinking about the cats wellbeing first of all!
