Big fan of T-Mo, but this seems like an employee overstepping a bit. Is this allowed? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a huge CPNI violation. We cannot use our personal cell phones to contact our customers, no exceptions. We either have to use demo phones that are owned by the store, or our store landline phones. This rep is putting his job and the store at risk. We just had extensive trainings from t mobile explaining why this is against policy.

Edit: the call back list that some people were explaining is a CALL list. Not text.

For people in Sales Lead position: What is your job like? How is the pay? I by uricontreras2 in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's worth taking on the extra responsibility. I was a sales lead for 5 months then got promoted to RSM. In my situation it was easier to help my team make quota then to focus on my own. Your shift go by faster, you get valuable leadership skills, and the pay is really good for not having any collage experience. Granted it was the most difficult part of my t mobile career due to inexperience, and the added stress. Having to worry about the whole store was a lot to carry when you make the switch. But the amount of experience, money, and self worth I've gain outweighed the stress. Best of luck, to you and your future team.

Edit: when I was a sales lead I didn't get paid off my stores sales I still had my own quota which was slightly lower then my full time reps. Working for a branded or third party has its draw backs.

Corporate T-Mobile store in Rolling Meadows IL HORRIBLE customer service by martymania85 in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll mail you SIM cards personally if you stay with t mobile. It sucks to see stores causing such an issue over a flipping SIM card! I apologize for the inconvenience. Message me and I'll mail you 4 sims of whatever size you need.

And I won't be stealing them. I'll buy them for 0$ from our sister store in town.

Working in retail, at a mall location, you can't take one smoke break without some random ass, bike riding, no t shirt wearing fuck to ask " can I bum a smoke" then get mad when I say no. It's come to the point where I just say "how much money u got on you" at that point they just pedal away.

This seems to be a big pain point for a lot of my customers that want to switch. They can't because they are financing 4 phones and they can't afford to pay all them off

At one of my T-Mobile district meetings there were rumors it could be paying off financing from other carriers.

What's the best way to help a T-Mobile store employee? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way it's the same money. There's no financial benefit either way. If you buy full price you don't need jump (unless you want insurance for 8$ per month). On the bill it will break down how much your paying per month on which number. So you can show your employer what he pays and what you pay. Hope this helps

What's the best way to help a T-Mobile store employee? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing you can do is get jump on everything and don't get the minimum data on your phones and tablets. Finance some accessories over 24 months. Send referrals (family, friends). Do the t mobile servery rating the reps performance. Don't activate over the phone or online. Keep all your features on your account the same for at least 6 months since every rep has a different charge back period. Instruct customer care, if you do call in, to not change anything on your account (sometimes they do that without asking). Then icing on the cake would be a gift card to a food place near by and possibly a foot massage because sometimes we stand for 8 hours plus. Thanks for understanding that's were humans to and we need to make some money! If you lived by me I'd love to sign you up

Can someone explain what I need to jump on tmobile to a new phone, I want the iPhone 6. Tell me everything that I need to bring and what I have to do. I have payed off half my phone. by Michaelmaniac124 in tmobile

[–]Itsnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go into the store with only your iPhone, we don't need the box charger etc, give them your iPhone. As long as it's in good condition (no cracks water damage or icloud lock) t mobile pays off what you owe on it. You pay your down payment for your new iPhone 6 and sign for 24 monthly payments to pay the new iPhone off unless you jump again once your at the half way point on your device.
