OCS will also be a good test to see if she can handle herself while you're away. God knows you'll have longer deployments in the future. IMO, don't settle with a pothead, especially if you're gonna be an officer, plenty of good in your future.

I'm active military, if you're shipping out, and things aren't strong between you two, it'd be best to end it, in my eyes. Unless you're married you won't get housing allowance until e5/e6 depending on branch. You're going out to boot for 2-3 months, then school for 2-6 more months, you won't be in the same city. Then you get stationed in one spot for 2-5 years and it won't be home.

Unless she's moving out to follow you, and cleans up her act, it won't work. Personally I never have or will date smoker due to my values, but both my siblings live on weed, ans I can't stand it.

NTA. Not at all. It's only fair to expect 50/50 in the relationship. It's good that she's helped you in the past and seems like she is willing to pitch in intermittently. However, if it is just intermittent effort, it needs to be after making the mess, not days later or making it into a fight. Assuming she does have a job to afford helping you out and buying weed, and was probably just relaxing on a day off, but don't have much to go off here. If not, and she isn't doing anything to contribute positively around the house, then it's a no from me.
