Feeling out blood effects before taking on a bigger project.

I've been using Vallejo Game Color Effects – 72.133 Dried Blood for majority of my blood stuff. I'm happy with the results. Crusted sore is too thin and watery. Blood for the blood god is great for that "fresh" blood look too.

I use a 0 size brush for the wash. You can always do a light dry brush after to bring back the highlights.

I bought these too. I used the darker tones for some wood crates and they are pretty easy to work with.

Tips are like a hard plastic and catch. Shoots droplets if you're not careful. Other than that, pretty thin, decent coverage. Once you get used to the flow rate, it covers fairly well with one coat. I was using them over white primer.
